No matter how much or how little I have (as long as it it at least a glass) I always wake up in the middle of the night, often exactly at 3AM. Why is this?

I don't know if it's dehydration. Actually that might be it...how would I know? I don't feel too bad, I just feel very uncomfortable.

Well when I do it is to pee. And get a drink of water. But I usually awake with a start for no reason and end up watching hours of useless tv. I don't know why it happens though.

you're answering your own question. you've panick and rigidity and then you overdrink and bypass out. that is likely that once you unsleeping there are some lingering outcomes from the alcohol that could want to mimic your rigidity warning signs, yet after a minute or so your mind realizes that is unsleeping and each little thing is okay. On yet another be conscious; the rationalization you're affirming for driking and then over ingesting is the precise reason how some human beings change into alcoholics. i do not comprehend in case you comprehend the way alcoholosm can destry your existence, kin and self fairly worth, yet per chance you ought to study out an AL-Anon assembly so that you will see that the position your cutting-edge direction might want to take you. whenever you over drink Alcohol you're doing everlasting mind and liver damage that won't be able to be reversed. I doubt the alcohol enables along with your rigidity. likely it gives you worse rigidity because you'd be embarrased about the way you acted once you've been ingesting the nighttime previously.

Once after a FULL night of drinking I woken up after 4 hours of sleep (9 AM) to really bad leg cramps from dehydration. That's the only time. Normally I have no problem sleeping with booze. Try staying up latter.
