This guy has flirted before then was really friendly for a while but seemed to be able to make eye contact with me. Has looked into my eyes and down at my lips before. But as soon as I tried to make personal conversation with him. He's been acting really different toward me. He acted really shy and nervous when I did this. Then he ignored me for a while wouldn't even look at me when entering the room. But then bumped into him in the hall and he just stared into my eyes for like 5 seconds. Then ignored me again. But then tried to get my attention again but could tell has trouble looking at me, when he flirted with me. I just can't figure him out. Is he afraid of me? I'm 38 and he's 25. Could this be part of it? I've tried ignoring him but he always comes back to getting my attention again. He'll probably be ignoring me again tomorrow.

I think he finds you attractive, but it could just be the age. He may be afraid of what people might think. Just try to stay cool and act normal. Maybe something good will come out of it. Good Luck.

He likes you. The staring into the eyes and being shy and nervous are all signs. Of course when someones looks at your lips when your talking insted of your eyes it generally means they are lying about something.

Sounds like the bloke is physically attracted to you but doesn't want a relationship. His ignoring is a way of telling you he doesn't want commitment.
