A person can live without if they have never had it. In all honesty, if you have had sex before and never have it again, I think a person will always miss that doesn't mean they will be unhappy, it just means that they will always want it, which doesn't make that wrong, it makes them human. If a person who has never had and chooses never to have it, then that is a different story. They can still find happiness, but may always want it, and once again, there is nothing wrong with wanting the expierence. It is human nature. Sex is such a high topic nowadays and you can't seem to get away from that topic. It is only natural to want it. Look at Priesthood. If you are not ready to take on that kind of commitment then you are not ready. I don't know if that just made sence.
To answer your question, Yes you can be happy. But you may still always want it.

depends on the person, I know that Ive been happy without it. Its not gonna kill me if I dont have intercourse cause I dont need it everday on the hour. I dont live to have sex all the time.

Well, personally I enjoy sex. A lot. An awful lot.
But it's sure as hell not as important as friends or love. I'm currently (recently) single and not having sex with anyone, but I have my friends around me and I feel loved, so I can say yes - I'm doing it just now, and I'm the happiest I've been in ages!

Would depend on how strong the relationship is...intercourse isn't as important to some people...others seem to need it to fill totally satisfied with sex

I don't know. I haven't tried to live my life that way. Once you have gotten used to a steady supply of sex, it is really difficult to switch to none at all.

:) that'll depend on the person....of course it's possible....sex doesn't equal happiness except during the sex which is minimal in time compared to other interesting things we do.
