yea it does. to a a point, even the best looking guy after i spend time with him... if he isn't polite or if he is cocky. the appearance really doesn't matter as much i could care less what he looks like and not be interested.

( wondering what you think.... would you like a person of the opposite sex if they weren't attractive to you?)

YES! let no one lie to you everybody falls for the looks first then when the dude opens the mouth to talk you can either take off on rocket speed or say wow! so he has the brain too!

I always falll for cute dudes but you must be down to earth and compassionate and humour is the tip of the iceberg! so good looks and not wise? wont take you to the next meeting/date

For those without looks, then you have to be very well kempt, i mean smart and sharp dresser! neat to the detail i mean well groomed i tell you a neat dresser will capture anybodies eyes no matter the physical looks and thats why you see them dead gorgeous girls with a not so good looking dude but the dude has style!!!!!!

Of course appearance matters. for shallow people the brands you are showing off might matter too but for mostly everyone else hygine is very important and if you are wearing what interests them then they may take it a step further into talking to you. look at yourself in the mirror would you be attracted to you? even poorer people can be put together well if their clothes are clean and they are. if you are afraid that you can not express who you really are with the clothes that you have then make a point of going after those that you find yourslef checking out and be persistent

1. What we wear and how we look (70-80% of respondents)
2. How we speak (10-15% of respondents)
3. What we speak (<5%)

At least my own personal experience bears that out.

coz a person tries to judge u from ur apperance first coz even b4 u open ur mouth b4 some1..... just from ur 1 look the other person thinks n judges out of u to a gr8 extent...
just imagine urself wen u were abt 2 meet some stranger den when u actually met him n he was far away from u..... ur mind started working n just derived @ some rough conclusion abt how the person would be.....

but anyways apperance not always give u the correct idea
it may sometimes cause illusion...

but then only the right amount of time with the person let u make the correct judgement about the person...

Initially yes, looks are always the first thing you see, but thats not to say that if your ugly you cant find someone, its all about confidence, be happy in your own skin, i met someone 4 months ago, not my usual type at all (as cruel as it sounds he's on the chubby side) but its the happiest ive been in a long while, just a shame his mothers a biatch, lol cant have it all eh ?

Of course! First impressions are important. If you are pleased with a person's appearance, you will want to get to know him/her. If the personality is not your type, then appearance will not matter so much anymore.

personally yes but if your not shallow you would give it a chance i would check out his personality and interest then apperances would not matter. As if i found a guy that made me laugh, great simiilar interest, respect. then apperance would not be a second thought. But they do say first impressions! But any girl/man worth knowing would get to know the person first before judging. lol

Sometimes it does, this might sound strange but i think that when i meet someone and they are funny and just maybe really interesting you don't really notice there appearance so much.

Your so busy enjoying them with laughter and of interest the rest does not matter.
