yes Jesus has bronze skin (brown skin is black skin) with wool hair. and we all know especially black people that WOOL hair is DREAD LOCKS. But others are in denial because the truth hurts sometimes. it really hurts those who are racists. BUt if Jesus was Chinese, it should not matter because he still died for all of our sins. he did not discriminate!

Well, for the most part is has to do with Jesus' Jewish heritage. Generally, Jews that lived in Israel in the time of Jesus weren't black. There's nothing wrong with that by the why, he wasn't white either.

I'm curious, the genealogy of Jesus in the bible doesn't present any direct African reference. In fact it would seem to confirm the Semitic heritage that most find traditional. What evidence can you provide besides a smudgy picture from 235AD to confirm that Jesus was black, as you so claim.

I'm willing to believe it, if you can prove it. The evidence that exists to my knowledge would indicate that he was a Semite, not black.

elliottandelliottmtg,
I don't care if he was or wasn't. Why are you so eager to portray Christians as racist if they don't think that you are right?

As far as scripture goes, the ministry of Jesus Christ never went to Africa. So stop coming against the church if you are a part of it. Are you trying to sow the seeds of discord?

If he was Black, he paid for the sins of the world. If he was Mexican, he paid for the sins of the world. If he looked about like every other Jew, he paid for the sins of the world.

You are not of the Spirit if you are trying to sow the seeds of discord.

There is no identity of a god, there is no differentiation for identifying jesus through races and class. Since there lots of authenticated records about his birth and life, we could not falsifie his identity. I could not claim, jesus was born in Delhi.

Many people depict Jesus as American, many English people depict him as English etc. this isn't any longer in basic terms Africans. people in basic terms tend to entice him in the nationality they themselves are.

That website proved nothing.

No academic source would ever claim that Jesus was anything but a Semite.
He was a Nazarite!
The Bible AND archeology have you beat on this one.

Sorry.

Get over your skin colour. Get over His skin colour. Get on with the care of your soul by His Grace.

Besides, if this icon is one of your better arguments, you are in some horrible trouble. May I ask, why is the Lord's face dark while the rest of him is a few shades lighter?

Good grief.

i would think he'd be middle eastern. since he was from the middle east. maybe if the bible took place in africa people would consider him to be african. i think jesus was difinitely dark skinned though.
