Why does he say do as I teach and then not be there for me when I need him? Why does he lead me on and say he's no respecter of persons and then respect all those who lie and cheat to get through life just to leave me alone and without?

Why does it seem like they get everything good and I always end up with nothing. From the smallest little thing to the biggest most important ones he never seems to have my back. I cuss him out constantly because He treats me like he hates me. I think he's a loser. Can anyone offer me any info...?

Thanks to all of you who responded to my crisis..I am so very angry with God and you all seem to understand my plight so well. I don't want to perish but it just seems that God rewards all those who are evil and leaves me for the birds to devour. I don't mean in terms of materialistic things that I desire..I mean in everything. I work and slave and do everything and everyone I know lies and steals and cheats and are lazy slobs and yet they have the free priviliges to everything like friends give them money, buy them cars, drive them places and they never pay it back! The use and manipulate and get everything and I work so hard and try to do the right things and I have nothing all the time. God even let me get an extremely bad injury and I still haven't healed after a year. I'm so angry with him and just don't see his love for me. if he's no respecter of persons why is he so demanding of me and yet gives me so little for all I do for him. I do what he asks yet end up empty handed

Heres the thing. You were right in asking to pray to get the enemy off your back, because he is on it and it sounds like a transitioning period. The thing is your letting Satan pounce on you like the devouring lion he is. If you are cussing out God, its only feeding Satan. Being a Christian is not easy, its one of the most difficult decsions and the most important decision a person can make. Once its made however Satan is going to try and get that seed that God planted. So dont get discouraged, rather than cuss at God stomp on the ground and laugh at Satan. The Bible says we are tested to be refined, and if we pass the test we come out purified. So dont quit and dont blame God, its only going to make things worse. Find joy in God, and really focus in that Jesus is our conerstone and the Holy Spirit is the great counseler. Thats two against ONE who is destined to loose. (actually 3 if you really want to get technicall) Dont loose hope. Fight through and make your roots!

I think you might be just a little confused you say that you do a lot of things for God and work hard but you get nothing back, I don't think you are right when you say he hates you , he does not hate you at all otherwise he would not have provided the Bible for you to learn how you can benefit in your own life, when you do those things you say you do for God what motivates you to do them?is it out of Love for him or is it for what you may be able to get out of doing those things? I also think you are wrong about God being on the side of those who lie and cheat, what makes you feel like you know that as a fact? If you email me I would love to give you some info that may surprise you and that will surely make you feel better realising that God rewards those who do things according To God's will and he is always by their side when they need him.Anything you want or need to know is in the Bible and if you want to know about the things the Bible says I would like to help you find out so just email me.

You wanted a real Christian answer... so here goes:

He wants you to recognize your pitiful, unredeemable sinfulness. Have you ever lied? Stolen? Blasphemed (you admitted to that one)? Hated? Lusted? These would make you a lying, theiving, murderous, blasphemous adulterer at heart. If you stand before God on the day of judgment and he judges you by that standard, you will be found wanting.

Repentance, my friend: a Godly-sorrow repentance, turning from your pride and arrogance and other sins, agreeing with God that you're a sinner, and accepting His free gift of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

You must stop expecting Him to bestow riches and blessing upon you as though He were some blue genie. He is God, to be feared, to be loved. Your life may get rougher for living for Him, but that isn't the point. You will avoid hell, and he will never forsake you. If he is truly your Lord, he will always carry you through.

But calling Him Lord and serving Him as Lord are two different things. Where are you on that scale?

I can really relate. I had a terrible childhood, and it seemed like God didn't really care about me at all. But then I came to understand that God can use a broken vessel better than one that's all pristine. Joni Erikson was talking about how shattered glass picks up the sunlight. It's beautiful and colorful. Perfect glass is just see-through. It's nothing special.
God uses the painful things in our lives to minister to others. And think about it, have you endured anything compared to what Jesus had to deal with? And He was perfect, but yet had to be beaten and killed so that we could have a relationship with the Father. So, do you see? While I am certain it's no cake-walk, you will be stronger and closer to Him on the other side of it. Remember, God is close to the broken hearted.

Much Love!!

First off, Jesus never said we wouldn't go though trials or tribulations. If you truly believe that God is responsible for those awful things, I'm sorry for you but the truth is, he's not. He has allowed them to happen. And because there is sin in this world and we have an enemy, we will experience pain. And if you think it's all about you when you, it's not. But I am sorry, being a Christian is not about "God being a genie" but God being our Savior and Lord. If you think God is a loser, you have a wrong belief sweetie, one born out of roots of bitterness and anger.
If you think God hates you, you're wrong. Read your bible. You have a lot of baggage, we all do and you need to work through it or find someone who will help.

Very simply, He wants you to stop driving the car (the mess that is your life) and wants you to move over in the passenger seat and allow him to drive so you will stop having so many accidents.

You were lying and cheating before you found him, just like every one else is still doing and they have the same chance you do to turn around. What is it YOU want from HIM? money, material things. Stop looking at everyone else and keep your eyes on him lest you begin to sink like Peter when he tried to walk on the water to meet Jesus?!. Maybe if you stop cussing him constantly he will have your back, sounds like you hate yourself and you are blaming it on him because you cannot take responsibity for your own actions, think about it. You take you every where you go, your problem is who you see when you look in the mirror change that person first. God will help you

This might help you a bit. I cannot remember who said it, so I will leave it unsigned.

Christian, this life we live on earth is as bad as it gets, Non believer this life on earth is as good as it gets.

Keep your eye on the prize, seems to me that you have taken your eyes off of God and onto the world.

God is right where you left him, get back into his word and back towards him.

Whenever life throws me curve balls, and it does, I look inside myself to see what God is trying to teach me. Getting mad stops me from learning what I need to and extends the time of my trials and tribulations.

Testimonies are not made up of happy fluff, they are made up of trials gone through and coming out the other side giving the glory to God.

Another quote that might help. God does not test those who do not belong to him.

So, when you see all those in the world around you, with seemingly no trials or tests, just maybe they do not yet belong to God and are enjoying the only real joy that they will ever experience throughout eternity.

May God bless you and keep you, and teach you to give him the glory (credit) for the good and the bad.

I think that if your faith in his words and his teachings were stronger then you wouldn't feel the way you do. When times are at their worst you have to believe in him as if he just awarded you the fortune of a lifetime. Many times many Christians complain that God isn' t there when they needed him most but He is always there and he will never put more on you than you can bear. Maybe you don't believe in yourself as much as he does. Have you ever considered re-evaluating your relationship with God? Like maybe reading over certain bible verses that stress the point of believing when it doesn't seem possible. Furthermore, don't focus on what he seems to be doing for people who don't believe in him because in the end you'll be with him in everlasting paradise while they are cast to the lake of fire (if they are not saved). And if even you curse him, he'll still love you with all of his heart but you should repent of your sins and your lack of faith in him. You can't believe half-hearted because he doesn't bless you or give to you half-hearted. So think about that. God Bless and please don't think I was being condescending in any matter. Just trying to help you.

There is a reward for people on this earth who lie, steal, cheat, and who step all over others to get there, But there is a reward in heaven for true believers and people who worship the one true God.
I would tell you- as a friend -that if you believe in God yet you still cuss him out, then you have some praying to do and bible reading as well.
We as Christians are not to long for things we do not have. Earthly possessions are worthless in heaven. Take up your bible and read. Pray to God. When you follow His will and listen to God, he'll bless you abundantly. Your fight is to get your will not Gods. Trust that He knows what is best.

Sometimes God has to allow bad things in our lives to humble our hearts to the point where He can use us. When we are not humble, He cannot work in us.

Since I don't really know the details of your situation, it's hard to tell exactly where the problem is, but I've found that when I am going through difficult times, God is trying to show me exactly what it is I believe about who He is. Do I really believe He is all-powerful and can change any situation He chooses? Do I really believe He is all-knowing and knows where He wants me to be and the very best way of getting me there? Do I really believe God is all-loving and is committed to always doing what is for my ultimate best?

Do you know how polished gems are made? They put them in a tumbler with a lot of grit and roll them around for hours and sometimes days. The grit will eventually smooth off the rough edges and will polish the stone to reveal it's inner beauty. Sometimes God has to allow the grit of life to work on those rough edges. Since you said you resort to cursing Him, I'm thinking that there are some rough edges in your heart that God is trying to remove. And I'm also thinking that you don't really see God as loving.
