The only reason to pursue an MBA is if you are more interested in business than engineering. I worked for 22 years for a Fortune 500 company, and very few of our senior leaders had both an engineering degree and an MBA. Once in a leadership position, they hired the people necessary to provide the knowledge base they needed for both disciplines.

As for a Masters Degree.....it is one less year of working at a BS degree salary. Most industries do not pay extra for a Masters.

If you are interested in graduate studies, you need to get a PhD for it to pay off.

BS+MBA to make the big bucks, BA and PH.D. to learn a lot. notice i have not vhose your option of BS + MSEE, as it only gets you half way ..
