You feel sleepy b/c your parasympathetic nervous system is activated to help digest your food. The parasympathetic is known as the "feed and breed" system and it basically gets the majority of your cardiac output along with a bunch of different hormones directed towards the visceral organs (GI tract) so that digestion is effeciennt and successfull. The sleepiness lets you relax so that digestion can occur. There is obviosly a lot more to this, but this is the quick and dirty explanation.

Actually this happens mostly to everyone. Our bodies do not have the enzymes in it to break down the food we eat wel enough.
The enzymes that are in the food we eat don't work well do to the heat used to cook our foods, so we are between a rock and a hard place.
That's why people drink those energy drinks and coffee and cokes, but after they wear off your system crashes.

You're not eating things conducive to energy. You're eating dead things. Live things like plants and such contribute to live energy and the fatigue will not come. Although digestion does take energy, you should not become fully sleepy from it.

The diet has to change and lack of energy. Through my experience, if eat too much of carbohydrate, meat and lack of vegetable will make the body easy to get tired.

Seriously! this is the right answer!!! it has nothing to do with carbs or wrong foods or that stuff. it's cuz a full stomach triggers sleep hormones.
