my gf wants me to read it but i don't understand. i get lost starting the 4th page.
is this one of those books you have to read 5 times to understand?
please help

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for their living,
And the child that is born on the sabbath day is bonny, blithe, good and gay.
Notice how it says Thursday's child has far to go.
Sorry but that is the best I could come up with.

I love the book Thursday's Child! I remember that it was slow at first though. So take your time reading the first few chapters, and then hopefully you'll think that it's better. I did. You can e-mail me if you have any more questions about it. :)

Are you sure this isn't a school assignment and your trying to get someone to do your work for you?
If not, don't you think your grandfather wants you to read it so that you'll glean something from it.
Just read the book.
