Yeah you are right! Me and My best friend just got a new appartment and we were celebrating. We were eating xanax and drinking Jim Beam, and we were completely hammered. He goes into his room and I am in the hall in front of him as he comes out and I hear this explosion! I turn around and he starts screaming and jumps into the bathroom. I run back there and he has just Blown off two of his toes with a 12gage shotgun with a rifled deer slug in it. I run to the door and I look down and there is his pinkie toe! I can see where it hit the roof in the hallway over my head and lands at the front door about 15 feet. I run next door and call 911 from the neighbors house. the cops came and an ambulance takes him off I just stayed and finished the bottle. We got thrown out of the appartment though--a week later!

Yes- Somebody knocked on my door late at night and said her son was hurt and she didn't know what to do. I never open my door to people I don't know after dark. I looked out and there was a woman standing there but no kid. So I said, "I'm going to call 911 you wait here for them." I mean what could I do anyway? So I call and the operator says"Don't you dare open that door" "yes Ma'am."
Police comes to the door, He's about 9 feet tall with a baton the size of a redwood. "What's this about somebody needs help?" The woman and her alleged son are gone. I never figured out what the deal was.

I've called 911 a couple of times. Once for a traffic accident, once because I was being threatened by a HUGE man at my daughters basketball game (I'm a woman btw), and one other time when someone was trying to break in to my home.

We had to call 911 today because an "amicable" divorce turned very suddenly and violently un-amicable in the lobby of my law firm.

Very ugly.

Yes - I had an attempted break-in 2 times within a span of 2 weeks. I was so terrified I couldn't open the door when the cops came.
