me and another cousin have found pictures of a close cousin of ours drinking and smoking..she is too young for that.. we dont know how to handle it, but wanna do something because we really care about her... she has a very good singing voice and often does musicals and plays and stuff.. smoking will ruin this for her.. can someone please tell me how to help her? im thinking of asking an older cousin for help with it or to talk to her becuase she is older and more mature...if i have to, i will confront her myself and be blunt about it.. itll b awkward, but its for the best...

if she wants to do those things thats her choice.. stop trying to tell her what to do.. she was born with free will from god to do as she likes.. stop trying to turn her into yourself.. and smoking doesen't ruin voices.. it simply by technicallity isn't good for making it better.. people like you think their always doing whats best for people when in reality your just making people despise you for telling them their wrong and how they should be.. i hope in the future you can mind your own business and recognize your own issues and deal with them on your own

yes the best thing you can do is to confront her and tell her that your there for her, also try to get her into a music contract of some sort tell her that the two of you should start sending out tapes of her singing and stuff like that to managers that might take her mind of things too,but dont forget even though she might be to young so many of us at that age have drank and smoked it could just be a phase she is going through so dont be to hard on her for that

although your intentions are good, the only way she can stop bad habits is when she decides on her own that she wants to stop. preaching won't help, and will probably make her mad. just make sure her parents find out about it. they may have a bit more "leverage" than you have.

tell her you know what she is doing and that you don't approve. but still realize that she is going to do what she wants to do. if she wasn't going to do that kind of stuff, she wouldn't have gotten into it in the first place. and don't give me that peer pressure mess. people do what they want to do with or with out people telling them

yea either confront her directly...this would probably be the best thing you could do....or talk to her mother/father about it. let them know but tell them not to charge at her.

Somebody needs to say something..before she does something to get herself in trouble......what about her mom , I know you think you would be telling on her but her mom can deal with it,,,
