I went to a Mormons Church, like I do many, to get a vision of what they are about. It's just another religion, Christian related.

I loved the Church, and the way they were organized, very nice people, same as many churches, their teaching is good, I did feel God there. I still visit now and then.

I notice they don't use a cross on their wall, one told me that they don't want to be reminded of the way Jesus suffered. I thought well you should. also Joesph Smith the founder of the Church, kill many years ago, I read up on Him..... there's a lot of good things that he has done, and some I wasn't to sure of. they claim that they are the only true church..... there is only one true Church, Jesus Himself.
I do tend to visit them someday soon.... that's how you learn more, different Churches and perspectives.

Probably, but hating someone on the basis of religion is wrong.

Here's one reason some people hate Mormons (I personally think it's rather sweet, but others are deeply offended): Mormons baptize dead people by proxy. Their goal is to say the words of Mormon baptism for everyone who ever lived. Not just Mormons -- everybody. So they go and get parish records and public records and whatever other records, and work through them, then go find other records.
A Mormon friend of mine says that then the soul of the baptized person will have the chance to accept or reject the Mormon baptism.

Yes. Choose any ideology in the world and you'll find some idiot who is venomous towards it for some insane reason. To be sure, many people would criticize Mormonism for a variety of reasons; but that's very different from hate; "hate" implies unsound, emotional, vacuous insult, which--unlike argument--is unproductive and indeed dangerous.

No, I have some Mormon friends. They just get a bad reputation cause of the polygamy thing back in the 1800s. Only the weirdo psycho Mormons still do that, and they live in the boonies out in the Utah moutains in little communes. Otherwise, they're just out there doing their thing.

WHAT?! Why would you ask such a question that seems to promote discrimination???

Why should anyone hate Mormons? They believe in what they believe in. Same applies both you and I. That doesn't mean that they are worthy of hating!

Please find something better to do with your time. Life is too short as it is.

I think that Mormons have some major theological problems and that they are not true Christians, but I don't hate them. If I hated them, I wouldn't be a very good Christian, now would I?
They do have some positive attributes: hard working, family oriented, law abiding (except for law against polygamy).

I don't hate them, I just really disagree with thier Doctrine. I beleive they have been deceived, and are following a pack of lies. I am a Christian, and I am not supposed to hate anyone. Besides, I can't hate Mormons for a more important reason. I used to be one.

I lived next door to a Mormon family for many years. They were hard working and family oriented. I saw absolutely nothing to hate about them. When someone needed help in the neighborhood, they were always willing to help out. I particularly appreciated them for respecting other people's religious beliefs.. They were an absolute asset to the neighborhood and a pleasure to be around.

No I have known many wonderful Mormons and many wonderful people of other religions. why should anyone hate anyone unless they are people who harm others.. ie: child predators and murderers.... Sad that we live in a time when we even have to ask such a question... :(
