I would. I have. It's been done. It's being done. It's still not a good idea.

HELL NAW...did u "hear" me HELL NAW!!!!!
Work flings/r.ships/friendships w/ benefits dont work.i dont care if you work on different floors...sure **** could start out cool, & there might not be any rules against it in teh corporate handbook..BUT in the long run that **** will bite you in the *** & leave an imprint! You'll be tainted so to say. not like the company whore or anything. dont know if this person is above/below or equal to your "rank" but im telling you that **** is not cool...it can & will eventually get complicated...thats why companies are against it, because personal life will spill into professional life at some point. the world is full of very attractive people...look elsewhere..dont bite the hand that feeds you...

That would totally depend on how professional the person was at keeping work as work and our private relationship outside of the office. Because I have heard horror stories of ppl dating someone in their office and they would spread rumors about the other person or try to blackmail them if they were a boss in the company. So you really got to be careful with ppl. Check out their morals and methods and decision making skills all around. Because you don't want to lose your job over one person you tried to date. And always make sure if its ok in your company policy or not.

I've done it before and it worked out- we kept it a secret so other people wouldnt be uncomfortable... if you're thinking of doing something like that, check the company's policy for inter-office dating first, you don't want to lose your job over a couple of dates

If you can have a discreet relationship with him/her and keep it at a pfofessional level at work. When you leave work its a different story. Dont make it obvious you are dating cuz if you do people talk and you may not be allowed to date the people you work with.

This is a mistake that I have made. When the inevitable break up happens, things get really awkward at work. I would never make that mistake again. Unless, of course, there is a huge distance between you and the coworker.

Ive done that...it didnt work out for us..but it all depends on the people...when we dated, we didnt bring our work home with us and we didnt bring our personal lives into work with us...but it just didnt work out because we felt that it was better to stay friends. It all depends on the people, and what the work policies are as well..but work policies have changed alot to...as long as you dont let the dating interfere with your job, then you're good to go

Maybe... If I knew I never had to work with him in a close environment. If he worked across the street in another building then yeah but if you work for the same company then no! Avoid that situation all together!
