Plain and simple, sorry, but you can't (unless you want a lot of scarring). In fact, doctors almost never remove them unless the patient requests it because milia aren't anything to worry about. Creams and oral medications have no effect...surgery is the only treatment (usually done by making an incision into the milia with a cutting edge needle and then expressing the contents).

Well a combined approach is best.
A) Differin gel (Rx)
B) Glycolic Acid products (to slough) like GlyDerm 5% or 10% solution
C) A home dermabrasion product such as Crystal Peel - use to massage the skin gently after cleansing

That is what many plastic surgeon's offices do.
You can also make an appt. with a PS office for a "skin consultation" and they will get the proper combination of products to alleviate your problem. The skin consult is usually free and they have an array of products in stock. When I got everything I needed it was about $200. If you have insurance, the Differin gel may be covered to some extent.

Yes, it will cost some money, but it's effective! You can either mess around with all the crummy stuff on the shelves, or go straight to the "horse's mouth" and do it right the first time. I know bc I have used everything out there.

Also use a good non-petroleum, non-mineral oil based moisturizer like Glyderm Lite. They have an entire product line for people with oily skin. You can search for it online at various sources. It's also good for sensitive skin, depending on which formulation you go with. Start low and work your way up to higher concentrations.

Also a good mineral makeup like Jane Iredale - this combined approach will make all the difference if you stick with the regime.

After the initial problem is under control - this approach will help prevent more problems - assuming you stay on top of it.

Use a good cleanser every morning when u wake and every evening before bed religiously. Also, the blotchy cheeks and arms sounds like an allergy. You might want to check with a doctor. As for scratching, it is not advisable....All the best!
