way too many times dude. then sometimes they take me to the hospital before going to jail to make sure i'm not high enough that i'm going to die and they handcuff me to the damn hospital bed while they take all my blood. the best time though would probably be when i got charged for assualt to a police officer by officer palinkas for kicking him in the face after i was already arressted for disordly conduct. ahh, miss them good old days...

I have been handcuffed I would say at least 30 times. Sometimes politely sometimes violently. This usually depends on if you have held your tounge or not. I used to be quite wild when I was younger well I still am I am just more careful now. One of the scariest was when they found a gun in my car and pointed theirs at my head while they searched the car and me. I was completely legal in having the gun so they gave it back to me and let me go that time. The most embarrasing time was when I violated probation and had to appear in court in an orange jumpsuit with shackles and ****. Nothing makes you look more guilty than being led into a courtroom in DOC clothes. I don't recomend it either.

In 1987 I was working as a newly hired Jail Officer, and we experienced a riot. There were 10 of us taken over control and our uniforms were stripped; we were forced to wear prison blues to make us blend in.
Three of us fought out attackers, I was one. Was stabbed in the back and leg at the same time our SWAT team raided the unit we were in. Everyone was handcuffed, and I was taken to the hospital after being cuffed & beaten, unconscience. When I woke hours later I was strapped down and still cuffed but only to the bed. My guard at the hospital didn't know me and refused to call verify my information. It was 1986, no cell phones, the jail lines were overloaded with calls from family, media, politicans, etc.
Meanwhile it took 20 hours to count, clean, and straighten and verify that all inmates were accounted for and none escaped.
I was freed just after that. I remember initially being cuffed behind my back, jerked around, manhandled, someone knocked me over the head, took a cheap shot (8 stiches) and dropped on the cement floor on my face before getting me out of the jail.
I lodged a complaint with the union but it went nowhere since it was considered an uncontrolable situation.
It took tfive years, but I was finally promoted through the ranks to Lt. I fired everyone of those assholes that beat me that night.
I take abuse seriously, and investigate every complaint. 98% are BS, the 2% that aren't, I prosecute myself.

was at a basketball game when the opponents got into an argument with some of my boys. we posted up and they backed down but as soon as they left they called the cops and told them we had guns, which was a lie. the police rolled up and threw everyone on the floor handcuffed us and then searched my car and my friends van. needless to say they found nothing but that took half an hour and all the time i was lying face down on the pavement with my hands cuffed behind my back. not to pleasant to say the least. the police did not even apologize. they did arrest one of my friends because he had no i.d. but he was released about 3 hours later.

Yes,
I was about 20, I was comming out of the post office, and they had a "stake out" going on. Well I was in south GA and was driving a bright orange racing car and was wearing a loud 60's style clothing ( and it was in the early 80's)
Well the officer in charge of the state out, said on his radio( I was told this latter) ok, get the suspious looking guy now.
Well all of the officers went and got me, and the real bad guy got away.
True story, happened in Baxley GA.

Yes... to be honest, there's nothing to it. It's not one of those things that lingers, because if and while you're being handcuffed, trust me, there are alot of more important things that will be running through your head...
