I think not. I'm somewhat selfish when crucifixion is on the agenda. Oh I've been nailed to a cross or two in my day but not to save the world. Just the other week I got that darn stigmata again too, just the feet this time thank God ( No really I mean it, Thank God; just because I'm not Christian doesn't mean I don't believe all this stuff ). I prefer my suffering to have more immediate benefits, for example donuts for the poor in Brazil! Or a good hazelnut harvest for those European Hazelnut farmers. That sort of thing. This salvation Blah Blah Blah has been done to death, granted risen three days later but I'm sure you see my point. Jesus is a hard act to follow with all the contradictions and two hundred year gap between the event and the writing. Besides you Christians would be pissed if someone like pulled a stunt like this, I've noticed your a little sensitive about the Son of God's thunder. After all He was killed in a most ghastly way for your sins, this is why you can be so righteous with folk like me today. Who'd want to give that up I wonder. Nope, I'll keep getting crucified for more run of the mill things, like religious intolerance or xenophobic reaction to differences, this way Christians can relate to my suffering and it may bring a little joy to you good folk when you judge me. All things good to your doorstep and may your life be filled with the joy of knowing God through Jesus's suffering so exquisite.

Depends. Would i give my life to save all of mankind and future generations of mankind? yes. But I'm not sure about the whole heaven thing. I have yet to find God calling my name. In any shape or form.

Can you explain to me how killing Jesus allows us go to Heaven? Why did God send his son down here to be killed? Couldn't he just say "OK people you may enter Heaven if you ask for forgiveness"? I REALLY don't understand this.... I mean, I can see that if we let Jesus live God would be like, you were good to my son, you may be blessed with forgiveness... But we killed him!! And that's what allows us into Heaven??????

people have been going to heaven before Jesus ever existed, just because a book says it happened does not make it so, also how many times have preachers and priests stolen from communities and raped children? Perhaps they are doing more than just physical abuse, but spiritual abuse as well. something to consider.

Being a mere human being and not also God would be much harder but the human side of Jesus knowing what He would have to endure before and during His crucifixion sweat ed blood-so great was His fear. I can only hope I could. Humans have been martyrs-endured much suffering in order to not lose their soul and their place with God in all eternity.

I wouldn't want God to ask me too because as a human I know that I couldn't - but with God I'm sure I could endure a lot more than I think I could and that is where I would have to constantly be focused. Good question - makes one stop and evaluate just how much do they really care about the rest of the world - not just the people we know, but all of humanity.

We don't know anything about Jesus. The stuf written about him was written many decades after he died, if he ever even existed.

In any case, even if Jesus did survive and was somehow a god, all of the pain in the world would be like a mosquito bite to him.

I would eat raw eggs. I would swim through raw sewage. I would sleep with my mother in law. I would kiss a man. I would lay with sheep. I would say, "have a nice day" to a gay man. I would dress in womens clothing. I would drink hard alcohol and smoke marijuana.

All of this I would do but never be tolerant of a Muslim for more than five seconds.

why dont you do the world a favor and die on a literal cross? nobody likes christians and its because of what theyve done for centuries, killing other christians Pagans and atheists enough is enough the Gods have spoken and they dont want any more of the christianity.
