I am faced with a similar situation. My girlfriend of over 5 years, without income ($) just up and moved out, saying we are better off just being friends. Because of that, I make a big deal of what happened. People tell me now, I am single. Now, I have to searched the deep blue sea. Being a complaining jerk; according to her,; she says I should look for someone, and me and her would be better only being friends. She has kids and grandkids. I was never married. Now, I am here in my own apartment, which, on a budget, I can manage to support. I want to not be single. That's my personal problem. I want to meet someone who'll not only be a roomate, but be a female and a companion, and my lover till death do us part. How? Do I get to my goal? Not even try to get un-single. People tell me, including my ex who wants to only be friends, I WILL find someone, I deserve it they (and she!) says.

stop looking.
the attitude you have when youre content with being who you are will make people become more attracted to you and you'll have a hell of a time beating all them off after you find the one you want!

well there are many many ways, blind dates, dating agencys, chatting on the internet has worked for many, lonely hearts, writing one or replying to some or failing that you could actually go out, clubbing/pubbing and talk to some men/woman and see where it goes. ya know what they ( whoever they are) that it happens when you leaast expect it, so forget about having a relationship for a while and just enjoy your life!!!!

Why your bored being single? Well keep yourself busy or perhaps look for a roomate.
