When they have been Hebrews for thousands of years and still follow all of the law of Moses even today. Why don't people understand that African people were the first Hebrews when the Hebrew language is Afro-Asiatic and many of the patriarchs married African women ?

Because of your racism it is obvious that you have never heard of the Falasha and Lemba who have followed the law of Moses for thousands of years. You should get your facts straight .

I agree that African Hebrews should be respected as being descendants of Isreal, but they won't. The reason is a fact of human nature and that involves stereotyping. The general population will see a black skin color and think of Africa, not Israel. And in the end, not enough people have the necessary background to understand and differentiate between the 2 groups.

Um, lets see....could it be, that because Israel is not an african nation? I can see where some of the offshoots might have intermingled, hence, interracial heritage from time to time, but simply speaking Hebrew doesn't make you a Hebrew...as speaking spanish doesn't make me a spaniard.
As for the belief that the first Hebrews were Africans, that's wrong as well, the first Hebrews journeyed from Ur, with Abram, later Abraham, to Canaan, then down to Egypt, during a famine.
Later, the were turned into slaves, by Pharaoh, and liberated by Moses...who started them back to the promised land, by now, occupied by other kingdoms.
As well, along this travel, the adopted the name, Israelites.
Africa, to it's majority, can trace it's linage back to Ethiopia, long known for following christianity, due to it's meeting with a man of god, in the bible....and as well, discovering that anyone can be saved, wether from Egypt, to Rome....no one is denied God's faith.
Now, as for respect, it's a lot depending on who you try to get the respect from. First of all, are you practicing Judaism, Christianity, or which faith? Some people seem to think, that you can't be a Jew, unless you travel or live in Israel, which to me, is a smacking of bias. I'm happy to worship at a local church, with faithful people near me too.....I'd say, you should be praising the Lord...and not worrying about what some closed minded others think.

1. Israel just took in 20,000 Ethopian Jews.
2. African people were not the first Hebrews. The Semites were. It's not only written in the Bible, but archeology proves this as well! Thus, your "fact" is false.
3. The Hebrew language is Semitic.
4. Moses was looked down upon by Aaron because he had an African wife (she was Nubian) which actually proves that the original Hebrews were NOT African.
5. You need to get your facts checked. No educated person would believe the bullshit you just wrote.

They do not have all of the Jewish traditions, so we are not completely sure if they are truly Jewish or a mix of 2 groups. And Hebrew is Semitic, not African!

Why does this race thing have to be brought into everything!Get the chip off your shoulder and stop believing blacks have to prove themselves to the rest of the world. The world is no longer racist toward blacks and as soon as blacks realize this we won't have all these racism problems.

Well, Israel extracted a lot of Ethiopian Jews during the famine so at least they know the story.

You obviously never watched Roots. Or, The Ten Commandments. And, I doubt that you look like anything close to Woody Allen.
The Bible teaches we are all God's chill'n, so quit your griping. And, oh yeah - love thy neighbor.

My bet would be that since the majority of Jews seem to be of European descent, it is unusual to them to see African Jews, and subsequently treat them as inferior, even if they don't realize it.
