Yes they really do. I posted a personal 2 years ago. My boyfriend of 2 years was one of the first guys I talked to and the only one that I ended up meeting. Not to say that there aren't some frogs out there and I know that I got really lucky my first time out. But they really do work My sister is getting married in a few months to her online "beau" and her best friend has been married to hers for over a year. Good Luck.

I've stood up in two weddings over the last three years for those who've met on dating sites. Matchmaker.com is the best and one I can recommend. If it worked for them, it can work for anyone. I didn't ever think my girlfriend was going to find "the one". Three years later, they've just welcomed their baby into the world and life is good for them. It's also still good for the other couple but they are still in the honeymoon phase of the marriage and I don't hear from her to often. I wish you luck!

I never used on online dating service, but i did meet my hubby online. I actually found his profile on yahoo and sent him a message...and the rest is a happily ever after story! I couldn't be happier, we just celebrated our 2nd aniversary.

For me, no. However, I don't do the mass mailing that some of my friends do.
Send enough invitations and you will get dates. If they don't work out, then keep trying.

Yes, they can. But take your time and get to know the person first. I rushed into it too quickly and failed. But I still have hope that they work.

i dont think so, unless you are seriously looking for a true love, and are desperate....thats just my opinion....i think its better if you go to parties to meet new people up and close...=-)
