yesterday I was taking off my valve springs on my cylinder head. I felt this pinch on my arm which hurt. So I imidatly moved my arm. I didn't see anything but I got a big bump on my arm. My whole arm started to hurt really bad but my hand went numb. I took benadrel and felt extremely stoned. Was it a bee or what. Im not allergic to them. Maybe its a dumb question.

Could have been a wasp dude. If your car that your working on has been sitting for a while, maybe at least through the summer, wasps may have built a nest somewhere in your car or under it. I got lucky last week when I went to go work on my car that had been sitting for about 8 months. I saw wasps a few times while washing it, and when I opened the passenger door to clean the inside...There they were. They had bulit a nest in the jam above the top hinge of my door. I got lucky and saw them before they got all pissed and came out. Purple Power took care of them right quick though! I'd check around your carefully, and see what's up.

Is it just a round smooth bump? It is likely a wasp sting or bee sting.

If it looks more like a sore that is swelling up and causing bruising, it could be a spider bite.

Put some ice on it. If it gets really big, red, or if it gets hot, go and see the doc. benadryl makes you fell silly. As long as you don't have difficulty breathing, or abovementioned symptoms, you are just having a mild reaction to a sting of some kind. keep an eye on it.

Next time you get a bite - run
in the house and grab a raw
onion. Slice it open and scrape
off some pulp. Plaster it on the
bite, and it will destroy the poison
from the sting/bite. It works.

Watch it carefully, if it was a sting, the swelling will subside in a few days, if it was a spider bite it could develop into a necrotic mess which will require medical treatment.

It sounds like you got stung by a bee. I feel so sorry for you. I got stung by a bee when I was little and it hurt like hell. Talk to your doctor.

I'd seek medical attention if I was you. But you probably did get stung by something.

It could have been a wasp. Visit your Dr. Or you could try putting Lavender oil on it.
