I don't have mono they say or have strep throat. I'm hurting all over. What could be wrong? Could I have some disease? I'm getting worried. That's why I keep asking about cancer. Can someone help me figure out what this might be and what I can do for it. They gave me a prescription for Augmentin. Symptoms: Ear hurts (said it was clear), throat hurts on the side right side - same side as the ear that hurts (says I have swollen throat), dizzieness, a small headache, also my skin feels tingly and at times I feel numb in my fingertips, am cold but hot at the same time, and always want to take a bath. Help me please!

you sound like you either have a throat or chest infection or both,. they can get you down--- to the point you just want to die. I am sure you don't have cancer, cancer is a silent killer, the pain comes only in the last stages. You have to wait approx. 48 hours and then the pills start to work and you will feel better. Go to bed and try to sleep.

Sounds like you have the flu! Or the hot/cold could be just due to a feveral. Could be just a bacterial infection. Cancer normally does not hurt. As a survivor of thyroid and lymph cancers, i will say that i didnt feel sick either time. I just found weird lumps. Sounds like a bacterial infection, which is why they swabbed for mono and strep originally.....
