There is none. That's your definite answer. There's not even any real evidence that god exists.

The Lord has said that the very creation testifies of his existence and only the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. The Bible is amongst other things, a history book which tells us of the past, present and future. Jesus foretold the events which would lead up to the end times in Matthew Ch.24 which I would encourage you to read and then have a good look around you in the world today. Most prophesy has been fulfilled and this should send a wake up call to people to start taking the Lord seriously as once the rapture has occurred, for anyone left behind it will be a 7 year period more terrible than any other time in the history of the world. We are surrounded by so great a cloud of witness that the Lord exists and be assured that one day will will all stand before him and that is an inescapable fact so please believe in the Lord Jesus Christ right now and receive your free gift of eternal life. Its free and no strings attached!

Hm... maybe I'm not looking closely enough, but I don't see anything in your records about you ever asking this question before on Yahoo.
Moving on to your question... All right, I think you'll dismiss this answer either way, but I'll go right ahead.
Now, you have your computer in front of you, right? You've never met the man who made that computer. Never even seen him. But you know he exists, because you have the computer in front of you, and you know SOMEBODY had to make that computer.
Same thing with a painting. You don't need the artist's signature or his physical presence; you know he exists because someone painted that picture.
Same thing with you... you exist because Somebody made you. Somebody began life thousands of years ago (and yes, I say THOUSANDS, not millions) and set it into motion. It didn't come around by random chance.
Now, there's one other theory. Key word there: THEORY. You evolved from apes, which evolved from monkeys, which evolved from something else, and so forth all the way back to primordial soup.
But if that were the case, why are there not millions of years' worth of fossils buried beneath the earth's layers? Why has there never been ONE legitimate "missing link"? All the so-called missling links discovered were either 100% ape or 100% man. Or they were hoaxes. I could go on, but simply put, there's just no backing for evolution, despite what some other people may tell you. If you don't believe me, google something like "creation vs. evolution" and see for yourself.
Again, I'll use the computer argument. You know the computer didn't gradually form itself over millions of years. Even a barn- a much simpler structure- will detoriate over time, if you don't maintain it and do repairs on it. It doesn't "evolve" into something better. This is due to the second law of Thermodynamics- order is reduced to disorder, or something similar to that wording. I forget. But the human body is far more complex than a barn structure; even the world's most powerful supercomputers cannot compare to a single cell of any living organism. And yet, many people would rather believe that random chance gave rise to this world you see today. That's not because they CAN'T believe that there is an alternative (God); it's because they WON'T.
Hope you'll do more research for yourself. I'll just get off my soapbox and shut up now. :)

There is no answer to this question. You can believe in many things some people believe that he does exist and some people don't I'm on of the people that do think he exists. I can't say there's real proof but as someone mentioned Look around you nothing just POPPED up here out of no where I mean look at what scientists want you to believe. The theory that everything happened when the big BOOM happened makes no sense I mean how did the universe come to be science has yet to answer that but just to put it there is no real proof you just have to believe that he does or you don't believe its up to you.

There is no real proof that God exists. And there is no real proof that God does not exist. You cannot prove nor disprove the existence of unicorns... We may not discover any here on this planet or lifetime, but who's to say that somewhere in the universe one does not exist? The same is true for God. Unless God comes down from Heaven and shows his face, there will never be proof of either answer.
Just look in the mirror, and look at the wonders of life, is the most ignorant answer to prove Gods existence.

Yes! there is proof! But know is really looking for Him! We all want to ask the questions, but know one accepts the proof! We don't really want to know! God exists do some searching on your own, and best of all pray to him, and see if you get an answer from him directly! Don't try to educate yourself too hard, and seek him out! The proof is 1.) Our calendar is set up on BC/AD
This refers to before the birth of Christ/ And After His Death
2.) All the denial of his existance, and arguments
3.) Listen to the cursing, and you will see, people using God's name invane.
If God doesn't exist? Why do so many people curse Him?
Why don't they curse using the greek gods names or budda?
I truly hope that you and all those silly people prior to me answering this find God and Seek to have a great personal relationship, with Him.

There are a few instances in the bible about the shape of the earth and washing your hands (bacteria) before the science of the time could know it. There are also miracles that can't e explained - ex. sighting at Fatima of the Virgin Mary, some say that was the devil in disguise, even if that was true it would still mean there is a God. Apparently there are a few other things too. As for a formula type answer, I don't know of any.

Can I prove to you that God exists, you mean? No. Where I am concerned, I have all the proof I need, and I'm not saying that in an arrogant manner. What I mean is, I cannot convince you of what I believe to be true, because it's my experience. God showed Himself exclusively in a way that I could understand, and continues to.
I don't mean to push anything on you...or offend you. But God can do the same for you, if you truly desire it.

austin,
what proof do you really need? just look around you at all the beauty, like a sunset, the ocean, i could go on and on.
personally, for myself, God is the only thing i have never doubted or questioned, and by nature i am a very skeptical person. except where God is concerned. i am sure it's my faith in Him that keeps me going, i always seem to draw strength from God.
did you ever hear of or read the poem "footprints", because this may help you, especially the part that reads, "when you only saw one set of footprints, this is when i carried you".

God as an entity, no. God as an energy, yes. We are energy. We don't need to prove happiness or love to know that they exist. Feeling more and thinking less is sometimes a good thing, perhaps the only way we can understand 'God'.

Ask yourself "Where did the proper materials come from that were needed to create the universe 15.8 billion years ago?"
And why weren't these materials created earlier?
What introduced these materials to the energy?
Before the universe there was nothingness, how did the universe created itself from nothing? You cannot create something from nothing, that is a law of Psychics. These materials did not appear out of nowhere. And before you say it... No! the universe is not eternal. Science knows the universe was created 15.8 billion years ago.
