Hopefully. They should have revoked it the first time. This is not the second time he's been drunk at the wheel of a car. It's simply the second time he's been caught. In the meantime, you need to stop referring to him as your boyfriend. You should start referring to him as someone you used to know. There is no greater loser than a drunk. And no greater dimwit than someone who hangs around one by choice and calls him her boyfriend. You're not going to change him, and he's going to hurt you. Child, life is hard. It's harder if you drag a drunk along with you. Wish him well and break away.

I don't know what state you are in but in Illinois they would be suspended and you would have to attend classes. Three times and you serve time and if you drive on a suspended license you could lose your license for good. I mean never have a license, ever again.

"at first I wasn't inebriated If i grow to be impaired i does no longer have pushed... 2nd of all all of us could party and regrettably I stay in a suburban place" at first, in case you took driving force's ed you're able to have time-honored that for the duration of CA, while you're under 21 something over 0.00 blood alcohol is a DUI. meaning in case you drank something. i understand you prefer to have exciting, besides the shown fact that that's illegitimate to drink something andchronic while you're under 21. in case you fairly could party, you're able to the two have a DD, or sleep it off in the previous youchronic. end blaming people for what you probably did. As for the DMV, try returned for the worry license. do notchronic, via fact the final element you like is to get arrested, have your motor vehicle impounded, be fined, and so on. despite if youchronic very effectively, there'll be cops who pull people over for going 27 in a 25 zone, or for no longer struggling with thoroughly at a suited turn at a crimson easy. and of direction, there is the DUI checkpoint each so in many circumstances, the place they verify all people's license. i understand that the universal public transportation in Santa Cruz in all probability leaves lots to be needed. I propose you call a cab to take you to and from college. it fairly is fairly inconvenient, yet workable, and you will never be risking something. in case you fairly can no longer take care of to pay for some money an afternoon to take the cab, even once you end paying for non-necessities like alcohol, get a factor-time interest the two on campus or interior of walking distance out of your place.

Probably, but it really is up to the judge. Frankly, if he drinks and drives -- especially after having one DUI, I hope it does get suspended. I'd hate to be the person in the car next to him.

I hope he not only gets his license suspended, but has his car impounded permanently and has his ignorant butt tossed in the can for a year or so. Driving drunk is like playing Russian roulette with innocent lives.

I hope it will be revoked until he gets his drinking problem under control. I hope, also, that you will get some counseling to help you realise that being with an alcoholic may not be the best for you. This does not just take care of itself. Call a substance abuse counselor in your area or go to some AL-ANON meetings. Good luck to you and your b/f.

Different states have different laws about this, I believe. In Texas, the answer is absolutely yes to a suspension, as well as probation, and in some cases a trip to "Safe P".
Sounds like he may have an alcohol problem that needs to be addressed!

Hopefully. DUIs are cumulative - they aren't just points which fall off his driving record after a certain amount of time.
You should probably find someone to be with who isn't an alcoholic.
