You look great.
So, what brings YOU out, on a day like today?
Doing some shopping?
Is there any spot on the planet to escape this heat?
Done anything fun lately?
Have you seen that movie, "Snakes on a plane"?
Don't waste your money. It is bad. SO bad, I left before it was over.
I've been having trouble with my PC. It keeps freezing up or crappin' out on me.
It must hate me.
Hey, I like your shirt.
Did you do something different to your hair? It looks nice.
You have the most awesome eyes.
I was up late last night, hangin' with my buds.
We had a good time.
So, what did YOU do last night? OR..Last weekend?
Studying hard?
How's work treating you? You like your coworkers?
How's school treating you? What courses are you taking?
What's your major?
I got up too early. I didn't get enough sleep.
I kinda just rolled myself outta bed.
Have you been anywhere on vacation, this summer?
I am planning on taking a short vacation soon. I haven't decided where though.
I just got back from a small vacation a couple of weeks ago?
Things like that.
Somewhere in there, you'll be able to spawn a conversation.
Good luck.

It depends on the situation. Make a comment about what's going on around you, or ask a question about something relevant to your immediate surroundings. Try to stay away from the same old tired lines, though. That's a turn-off. Most importantly...relax and be yourself. Good luck!

How was your day? Did you do anything fun last weekend? Do you have any plans for Christmas yet? Seen any good movies lately? Read any good books? Who are your heros? If you could live anywhere on Earth where would it be? Favorite kind of music? Do you have any pets? Are you an only child? Have you lived here all of your life?

You want to get to know her, right? So ask her questions about herself. For example, What do you like to do for fun? What is your favorite subject? What did you do last weekend? What kind of music do you like?

Depends on what she says. If she just says "fine thanks", then try to relate to current events or hobbies or work, like "What do you do?", "Been to the movies lately", or "What do you like to do on the weekends"
