I work in a job where I stand in an office all day...yes, standing in office work. I get to sit, but a majority of my time is just standing, and it's killing my feet.
Does anyone know of anything to soothe sore feet? I am about to ditch the heels! So, is there some kind of herbal remedy or something that can help them? They hurt so much it feels like the bones are bruised...!!!!!! I hate it! I have a foot soaker, but I wondered if there was something I could put in it to help my feet to feel somewhat better. Any amount of relief without taking pain medication would be wonderful....and I probably should invest in some gel soles for my shoes.

Epsom salts are good for temporary relief!

YES! ditch the heels, they are so bad for your feet...wear them for special occasions not for everyday wear

"Superfeet" insoles have been good for many, myself included

You might want to see a foot doctor or consider seeing a structural integration practitioner (Hellerwork or Rolfing)...they may be able to realign your feet and legs to better distribute the weight across your feet and eliminate those "sore bone" pains.

My husband worked a job where he was on his feet all day - he bought a pair of orthopaedic insoles which worked wonders.

Definately ditch the heels for some low heeled shoes.

Epsom salts in the foot bath will work a treat.

I'd invest in one of those foot massage things.. about 20$ and get some foot soap fizzy for it too.. it has a massager and keeps he waer warm.. 20 mins in that then dry you feet and rub the bottom of each foot for 5 mins with lotion... also you could go get a pedicure for the foot massage then work on keeping you feet that way.. def lose the heels and invest in some gel for your shoes. watch you ankles and knees too. if worst comes to worse go get your feet massaged.. but proper shoes and some tlc for the feet should help a lot.. also stand on a tennis ball and kinda roll it under your foot.. it makes a great massager (and cheap) but the bath one is like heaven!!

I had this pain last year.
As recommended I bought shoes insoles (specially recommended by specialist), and after wearing it for a week or two the pain subsided.
It definitely helps.
