The reason why birth control pills work is that they "trick" your body into being pregnant already, so you don't get pregnant hence the boobs hurting, nausea etc. Some women can't take it because the side effects are too harsh.

What kind of birth control is it for starters? Yes, it will make your boobs hurt (and bigger too!), and it might make you sick (depo shots made me feel sick, but i still packed on 20 lbs). It might also make you feel like you have a permanent case of some serious PMS. If you're on something that's a high hormone dose (like the patch (evil invention), depo provera, ortho tri cyclen, other pills), you might feel icky for a few months. If you're good about taking pills, you can take a mini-pill (has to be taken at the same time everyday), or you could try the Nuva ring (veerrrry easy to deal with), or maybe Merina, which is an IUD. Those are all low-dose and shouldn't have such harsh side effects.

I definitely think that it is the hormones that are in the pill. Your body already produces progesterone and estrogen and the pill gives you more of these hormones. It does take some time at first for your body to adjust, although if you even think a little bit that you may be pregnant go to your doctor immediately because the pill can hurt your baby in the early months, even cause a miscarriage. You should probably call your doc anyway just to be sure all is okay with your pill. Good luck.

Are you old/mature enough to be on birth control? Your post is worded rather immaturely. Sorry if I offend, but it sounds rather childish.

That being said, when you picked up your prescription from the pharmacy, it should have come with a folded up pamphlet inside your pack of pills. READ IT.

Your other option would be to type in the name of the medicine at Google or Yahoo! and when you get to the site that has information about it, read the side effects.

Birth control makes a lot of women's' breasts swell and can make them feel sick. Take it at night with a little food and that should help. It should also get better as your body gets used to it. Also most likely whatever brand your using has a website with information on it, if you take a generic just look for the name brand's website.

yes, depending on the kind of the pill and types of hormones it contains, u may experience different side effects. soring boobs and nausea r most common. u may have a breakthrough bleeding and headaches as well. if ur body doesn't adjust to the pill within 3 months, ur doctor should prescribe something different.

ya, birthcontrol basically tells your body it's already pregnant, so it won't get that way again... I couldn't take birth control because of the same things you are talking about.

There should be a site from the manufacturer of the pills. If not, get more information from the physician or clinic you got them from.

Please use the spell checker next time, it is very difficult to make sense of your question. But, if you want to learn about birthcontrol, try going to www.plannedparenthood.com

There should have been a little pamphlet with your birth control... you should have and still should read it.

Or google is your new best friend.
