Name one person more famous than Jesus?

If you list someone also include the town they were born in and the name of his mother & father as is common knowledge of Jesus!

Isn't funny why those who don't believe and mock Jesus spend their time doing just that!
What does that say...?????

Correction!

Jesus was two persons. Jesus was two thieves named by their crosses with the inscription.

Its funny how you talk of Jesus and not the Christ? Are you really Crosstian and dont know the Christ?

Jesus was named at the trials of the Jews by the Romans who crucified the two Jesus thieves and set Christ free and left the Jews with the blood of the thieves on themselves and on their children as their punishment for calling for the blood of an innocent and righteous man.

You call something famous that was part of one of the biggest hoaxes in history and still has you fooled and blind.

Get off the follow the blind thing!

Adolf Hitler - Braunau am Inn, Austria
Parents: Alois Hitler & Klara Pölzl

George W. Bush - New Haven, Connecticut
Parents: George H. Bush and Barbara Bush

Just two off the top of my head that in current century and times are about as easily brought to mind as Jesus. Hell name a person who doesn't know who Bush is!

George of the Jungle perhaps? His Dad was named Fred of the Forrest and His Mom was Molly from the Meadow. I'm pretty sure they were all from Funky Town. And your right, it's hilarious! It says they find humour in the ridiculous. Take care and all the best my Christian Brother.

Well, the expression Jesus, Mary and Joseph is pretty famous. We don't yet say George, Barbara and George, but it may come to that some day

Saying a particular person isn't more famous than the fictional character of Jesus just because one can't include the name of that person's mother and father and the town they were born in is unreasonable, at best, and downright stupid, at worst.

If you can name someone famous and WHY he or she is/was as famous as Jesus, that's enough.

Everyone is famous for different reasons. Jesus was famous for who his parents were (Mary the virgin who, by some miracle, became pregnant; Joseph, the carpenter) and where he was born was just something that was part of his story. Other famous people are famous for what they wore, or what they did, or what they looked like. I'm not going to say Jesus WASN'T famous just because he didn't score 100 points in one game like Wilt Chamberlain did, you know what I mean? You can't say someone isn't as famous as Jesus just because you can't name his or her mommy!

Now, I can name a lot of people, both fictional and real, who were/are as famous as Jesus or are more famous than Jesus ever was:

—SUPERMAN
Yes, Superman is a fictional character, but so is Jesus. Now, pick any ten people from anywhere on this planet and ask them, "Do you know who Superman is?" I think 8 out of those 10 people, at worst, would not only know who Superman is, they can tell you what his alter ego is (Clark Kent), where he was born (not on Earth but on Krypton), and who is main squeeze is (Lois Lane). This is about the same as knowing where Jesus was born and who his parents were. Kal-El (Superman's real name) is famous for so many things, I can't name them all! Everyone knows about the big "S" on his chest, the red cape, the flying, the strength, his deep sense of humanity and humility, and his worst enemy, Lex Luther!

—MUHAMMAD ALI
If you underestimate this one, you just don't know what you're talking about. The man is a legend, even to those who didn't follow boxing or sports. Ali is not only a household name, he's revered all over the world. He's famous for being one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, heavyweight champions of all time, for standing up for his beliefs during the Vietnam War, and for his witty, controversial, sometimes hilarious, and always entertaining rhetoric and trashtalking. He isn't considered "The Greatest" for nothing!

—ELVIS PRESLEY
The man is dead but he seems like he's still very much alive because he is written about and talked about more and more every single year. His popularity has grown over time. He, too, is considered the best of his time, no, of ALL time. His music is universal, his legend is intact, and the myth and mystery surrounding him is as strong as the myth and mystery behind the Prodigal Son. Go anywhere in the world and ask someone who Elvis was, and that person would know as much about Elvis as he or she knows about Jesus. Elvis is famous for his sideburns and for being the King of Rock 'N' Roll, just to name a few.

—MICHAEL JORDAN
Even morons who live under rocks who don't follow sports or basketball know who Jordan is. He is loved by millions, if not billions, of people from ALL over the world. He is the reason why the NBA is what it is today (Bird's and Magic's exploits notwithstanding). Jordan was so great, we now say "He/she is the Michael Jordan of..." to emphasize that someone is the best of the best at something (Kasparov is "the Michael Jordan of chess!" "De Niro is the Michael Jordan of acting!") Jordan is famous for his tongue wagging, his bald head, his aerial maneuvers and acrobatic dunks, and his uncanny ability time and time again to hit clutch shots to win ballgames. The scoring titles, countless highlights, and six NBA championships also help!

I can name so many more people who are/is as famous or more famous than Jesus—Michael Jackson, Mickey Mouse, Shakespeare, Dracula, Napoleon, Satan and/or "The Devil," Einstein, The Wizard of Oz, Julius Caesar—I can go on forever!

Jesus is a great fictional character and that great work of fiction known as the Bible is a fun read, but I think I've proven that many people, both fictional and real, have arrived since Jesus to become as famous as him or more famous than he ever was.

By the way, Jesus ranked 51st on a list of the 25 most written about famous people of all time, right behind people like Beethoven, Mohammed, George Washington, and even his own mother, Mary.

Adam-he,like Jesus, were created with the command,"Be" and it was.But unlike Jesus, from him was created his mate, and from them both countless men and women. And mocking any of the prophets is a proof of ignorance.

Still such controversy and hatred for Christians today as there was nearly two thousand years ago. The story of Jesus transcended time - and that's enough for me.

Who else do we know of...has there been another Christ? Who was he? What was his life like? What did he say? What did he do?
