John chapter 14

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Thus we bring supplication to the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ.

"......these things we ask, in Jesus' name, Amen."

John 14:6 says ---- Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:13 says ---- Also, whatever it is that YOU ask in my name, I will do this, in order that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son.

Hebrews 7:25 says ----- Also, whatever it is that YOU ask in my name, I will do this, in order that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son.

I hope that helped you...

John 14:6 Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

It's simple. No one comes to the father except through jesus christ. this means that when we are praying to the father, we should mention jesus' name at the end because that's how we will get our prayers delivered.

It doesn't say that you have to finish your prayer by saying something like "in Jesus' name". Jesus said that we should come before our Father in His name when we ask for something in prayer. That means that we first have to be praying for something that Jesus would approve of. Like we couldn't come in Jesus' name and ask God to help us to be successful in robbing a bank or getting away with adultery or something like that because that wouldn't be a request that was in line with Jesus' will for our lives.

Secondly it means that we acknowledge that on our own we have no right to come before the pure and holy God of Heaven wearing our stain sinned rags but that by faith we trust that we have been made acceptable in his sight by the atoning sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf.
