I had my first child at age 45, and never developed stretch marks or got very much overweight. I have stayed very active and fit, yet earlier this year, got a hysterectomy and can really tell things have slowed for me. Ankles hurt when I get up in the morning, balance is not as good on a ladder, not as willing (probably for good reason) to do the high risk things that I used to do.
So sad for my delightful eight year old daughter.
Fortunately, I picked a significantly younger dad, and he is willing and able to keep up with her better than I.

Honey, it's all in your head. Thirty is just a number. Nowadays, 30 is the new 20. People live longer and healthier. Do your part, exercise and eat right and have a long and happy life!

When you get your first "m'am"...when you hear a song that is hot and trendy and you just don't get it...when the girls at the clubs start looking waaaaay younger than you...Actually, there is no reason to ever old at 30. It's a number that means little. There is nothing you can't do that you couldn't do at 29 or 27 or 25, but you probably have more spending money now to do more fun things(travel, nice bars and clubs, "toys")

I am 23 everyone thinks I am 16-18 and I am often treated like a child but I find that I feel older than my age because I am somehow stressed into feeling it.

When I was in my mid-20s (by the calendar), I worked as a stock clerk in a grocery store. Part of my job was to bag groceries and help customers out with them whenever we were busy enough for us to be called up to help by the cashiers.
One evening, I had just returned inside from helping a customer with groceries, and two of our cashiers were talking with each other. I straightened up some of the bags in a nearby bin, and then started for the back to resume stocking. One of the cashiers called to me, and asked, "How old are you, really?"
I answered, "I'm 5 years old with 23 years' experience!"
So, to answer your question, you start feeling your age when you finally figure out the right age to feel. That's what I did, and do.
I'm 5. How old are you?
