I smoked for years and the thing that got me to quit was the cost. Also, the fact that large corporations are able to gain profit from your addiction. Every time you buy a pack, you line the pockets of greedy people.
Addictions are hard things to overcome, you are going to need to replace it with somthing else, I suggest lemon heads. Sour candy can really help.

You cannot stop if you dont have desire. All kind of medicines has limited effects and u will come back to smoke in short period of time. It is matter of your mind not medicine.
Answer honestly why u like smoking and why u need to stop -> comparing two answers and u will find your own way to stop smoking.

Visit a website called The Wall. Listen to firsthand accounts of people trying to breathe-or those who lost loved ones . Take a straw hold your breath ; then breath out and in through the straw. ( long breaths ). After several breaths thru the straw, you will have an idea of what it is like to have emphysema ; which is just one of many side effects from smoking .

Go to your doctor and talk to them about it. I believe there are certain prescriptions that can make it easier to stop smoking.
