I had to read them over and over again. Make sure you learn the numbers and order of them too. Have someone ask them to you. Or take one order a day and repeat it over and over. Study only that one the whole day. Then the next study the second one. It will take 11 days. But it might be easier then doing all of them at the same time.

Don't know which service you're in--each one is similar but different.
Learn the first part of each--The Air Force's
1. I will take charge of my post.............
2. I will report all violations of orders I am instructed
to enforce.............
3. I will give the alarm...........
Learn the essence of each one then I think the remainder will be easier to remember.
Good Luck.

You do not say what branch of the service you are in.The ARMY has three general orders. The marines have 13 i think.I am in the army national guard and just read them over and over.Work with another soldier who has trouble with them as well. Before you know it you will have them memorized.

Don't know any tricks...just memorize line by line, one order at a time. I'm wondering what branch of service and if they're all the same. I still remember mine from USMC bootcamp many years ago.
To walk my post from flank to flank, and take no **** from any rank.

What I have been doing is just focus on one at a time. Repeat it to yourself, then write it down ten times or so. Try to do it without reading it.
Then once you have that one down good, move on to the next one. But this time when you write it down write down the one you already learned too.

Write it, Read it, and Say it. Those all use different portions of your memory. Therefore it's in your head 3 different ways. Practice Practice Practice.

A lot of practice with help from fellow bootcampers! I was in the Navy and I was great at them. You have to really concentrate to be good at it. Best of luck to you.
