I always take a book or magazine with me to read when stopped at lights or stuck in traffic. It makes that time go faster.
Though one time, I took a book on loan from a friend. The car got so hot sitting in the sun while I was at work that the glue holding the book together melted. Fortunately, the publisher replaced the book for free.

Cursing, screaming, pounding the dashboard, and questioning(yelling) aloud why there is even a jam developed in the first place. Oh, and I listen to the radio/CDs and make calls, too

I always have a book. If your not a reader, find something you like to do. I have a 10in T.V with satellite but one in your car if you feel that you spend more time in traffic.

I look at all the signs (or license plates and cars) around me and play the alphabet game. You know, start looking for the letter A, then B ..

I sing, flip through radio stations, practise another language (I have several CDs for that), play a sound effects CD (you have to guess the sound effects), or I download crap on my cell phone.
