he does not eat any junk food nor soda. he drinks vitamin D milk & pediasure.

First, I would have a new test by a different lab. If it is the same, I would be demanding answers from the doctors. At the same time, I would be seriously looking at this child's diet. I can;t imagine a 2yr. old with high Cholesterol. God be with the child and you.

I cannot imagine why a pediatrician would even order a cholesterol level on a toddler, unless there were some reason to suspicion familial hypercholesterolemia. Go back to the doctor that gave you this result and INSIST that they give you a referral to a nutritionist who can help you through this lifelong disastrous condition.

Familial hypercholesterolemia has several different types, the most severe of which can result in severe heart disease before age 10. I truly hope this result is a red herring and your child is not so afflicted!

stop feeding him packaged foods and sugar and smoking crack and cigarettes in the same room
