Kill Ethiopians? This is including Ethiopian innocent children obviously.

If you say we should not take the old testament literally, the Adam and Eve story goes down the drain

God Will Kill Ethiopia

"You Ethiopians will also be slaughtered by my sword," says the LORD. And the LORD will strike the lands of the north with his fist. He will destroy Assyria and make its great capital, Nineveh, a desolate wasteland, parched like a desert. The city that once was so proud will become a pasture for sheep and cattle. All sorts of wild animals will settle there. Owls of many kinds will live among the ruins of its palaces, hooting from the gaping windows. Rubble will block all the doorways, and the cedar paneling will lie open to the wind and weather. This is the fate of that boisterous city, once so secure. "In all the world there is no city as great as I," it boasted. But now, look how it has become an utter ruin, a place where animals live! Everyone passing that

This is a prophesy that might still take place. It is said the
Medes and Persians, (Iran is Persia, Iraq, Nineveh, Medes?), will form an alliance with Ethiopia and Libya.
This will be an assault on all of humanity, not just Israel. My guess trying to block the Suez Canal area, which will destroy
the worlds economy. If they succeed. Which they might for a short time. Prophesy is just telling them what will be the
consequence of thier action. The world will strike back.

Many churches have missionaries in Ethiopia. Why would they "waste time" teaching the residents about Christ if they didn't belief in eternal life for all believers. John 3:16 says that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so whoever believes in Him shall not be lost, but have eternal life. He didn't exclude any nations. The Bible should be read as a whole for a complete understanding - not in bits and pieces.

What? i'm sorry you receive your information all mixed up. i'm no longer likely particular if your speaking approximately Christianity or no longer. everyone can use hearth which comprise Christians. The symbolism of hearth interior the Bible would not continually propose evil. Ever heard of the Burning Bush? Or the hearth that secure the Jews with Moses premier them out of Egypt? No, hearth generally isn't evil. So even actual Christians can use it. the place did you get the full "presents of demons" thought interior the 1st place? and there is just one God in Christianity no longer 2 or greater. you're in all probability thinking of devil, a fallen angel, no longer a god or a lesser god. no longer even close. No rudeness.

Okay, but what rendered that punishment against people? What did they do to deserve God's wrath? I am sure that the people of Ethiopia did something to piss of God. God does not go around slaughtering people for no reason.

I would ask you to find out the reason for the punishment and then realize what God did to show others that might be heading down that same pathway.

God does not kill for the sport of it.

Have you decided that God is evil? Will you be judging Him or will He be judging you? God is not without wrath. We are created in His image. I am sensing your wrath. God's wrath is at sin. What is your wrath over? Over and over He calls our country to repentance. We may get on our knees and ask Him to forgive us but we do not repent. God knows. God's Love and His Wrath are both strong. We choose His right hand of mercy or His left hand of wrath. "Choose you this day whom you will serve." "Choose life that you may live."
Blessing or Cursing, Life or Death. The choice is in our hands.
"God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap."

A lot changed about the Old Testaments teachings when Jesus died for our sins. However the history part didn't change because Jesus died. So, you have to pay close attention to which part you are attempting to revise.

There's the kicker of the bible. Horrible, capricious genocide is perfectly alright if God decides to do it. We are required to follow "thou shall not murder" but God doesn't have to.

Sounds good huh? Ask Christians if they'd follow a president who didn't think he needed to obey his own laws. Oh wait, when I put it that way....

Notice God's sword??? Not man's sword... God is righteous, man knows not God's ways. Neither can man know what is good and evil.
