What is it with women and dancing?Most men aren't keen on dancing, I like to listen to music and play it, but don't like dancing particularly- do women equate dancing prowess with sexual prowess ...?

Personally, I think it is very attractive if a man is physically confident and shows off his agility dancing, doing sports, building stuff, whatever, especially if sweat is involved ;) The first time I saw my ex dance I had a sneaky suspicion it wouldn't last because my image of him was ruined. So, if you're not comfortable dancing, demonstrate your manliness in ways that show off your abilities.

I don't think that many women would equate those two ideas. If a study was ever conducted to equate these two ideals, let us hope that they do not equate as the less able male dancers would not have a chance in the bedroom. Those of us whose partners are good dancers in the bedroom may not care about the actual dance floor....

I don't necessarily see a direct link... but here's the disjointed train of thought from my head...
If a guy is out dancing (especially if he isn't grinding with a girl, but just plain dancing and having a good time) it means he's confident in himself.
If a man is confident in himself, he is confident in his abilities to make a girl happy, and also to get what he wants.
If a man knows he's good in bed (both to please himself and to please his partner) than chances are, he's right.
So... it's not HOW you're dancing... it's more THAT you're dancing.
And I must say again - this is NOT the kind of dancing where a guy goes up behind a girl (or, ew, a bunch of different girls in a night) and just smacks his lower midsection up against her to the beat of the song. That's just... well, I don't know what that is but it's gross. Like a dog in heat. But if he knows his steps, then he's probably not bad in bed.
So... get moving!!! ;)

dancing is a splendid way to see just how well someone can move and their sense of motion. so if you can dance or have a good sense of dancing, then you have a good sense of motion and how to move. during sex, its usually the motion that gets things all hot and heated and brings you to that peak. it is also what makes it fun. so women equat dancing prowess with sexual prowess because they both require a good sense of motion to make them enjoyable.

There is a saying that if a man can move on the dance floor that he can move in the bedroom. I never think about it. I don't care if my man can dance, the only dance he has to know is the matress mambo.

I wondered about this as well. I sort of find the idea of jumping up and down pretending i love the music to be quite pu$$y like behaviour. But yes women seem to be impressed by guys who like to embarrass themselves!

well some of them .. i guess that they have the idea that if a man knows how to shake it .. in the floor of course he knows how to make them go nuts in bed.. but its all a thought.. i guess its more of an attraction thing the same with guys and miniskirts.. some of them think that women with miniskirts are sexy ... but it could be that a girl in a miniskirt can be cold and not sweet at all .. or doesnt like to please her partner.. the same as if a guy that doesnot know how to dance but does know how to please her girl :D there are always exepctions you know !

hell yes when i women dances with a man she has all control in her hips,breast,waist its so sexy you men cant handle dancing with a women because we like to grid our bodies up against you...its such a powerful thing i just cant explain it i love dancing i feel so free when im doing it

I just like to dance and im good at it. But i'll never do it for anyone exept my man or myself so....oh and my afical answer is HECK NO
