People keep saying that the Mexicans don't take jobs that the Americans want that a bold face lie.....
Have you ever been out to a construction sight..a lot of them are Illegals that steal the American workers jobs i see it every day of my life...They go to these builders and give them a very low bid,not to many Americans can beat those bids..Next time you see a new neighbor hood going up drive by it and you will see a lot of Mexicans working on the houses and most of them are Illegals..I live in a county where the sheriff is fighting to get rid of all the Illegals and the people of the county back him up..Hes been on the news a lot and im proud to have him as a sheriff..
Do you guys just walk in to your neighbors house with out asking his permission?..well that's just what these Illegals did too America. And you guys don't seem to care one bit..
Legal Immigrants have the permission of our government to be here
Illegal aliens don't have the permission of our government. They just walked right in And didn't even wipe their feet...

I think that illegal immigrants really do understand that they are here illegally. It's the idiot American citizens who support them and hire them that don't seem to understand. We have always had migrant worker programs that allow people to come into our country and legally work in the fields. We have never had laws that allowed them to come in, undercut wages and take away any job they wanted from American citizens.
Example - While vacationing in California every hotel and restaurant we went to was staffed by Hispanics. When I got to Louisiana, a state with a very low illegal population, the hotels and restaurants were staffed by people of every race. I realize that California has a high Hispanic American population, but, from the amount of the staff that spoke no English you can't convince me that most of the them were not illegal immigrants.
So I have to wonder why is it that the people in Louisiana will do these jobs that Americans supposedly won't do? Is it because the wages for those jobs haven't been undercut by a large population of illegals in that area, yet?

"the law is there for a reason to protect so many things including our american culture."
The law is there to protect the interests of American politicians.
"not to mention all the public facilities like hospitals and schools the illegals steal the right to use."
Because someone is not white they do not have the right to healthcare or an education??
"if that was true this country wouldnt be the powerhouse it is today."
America is not a powerhouse. We import exponentially more than we export.
"if no one else, teens could get more summer jobs back!"
I'm a teenager and I have no problem finding a summer job or co-existing with Mexican workers.
"illegal immigration does no good."
I guarantee you your grandparents or great-grandparents were immigrants. But, because they were from Europe, they were obviously /legal/ right?
I'd much rather get rid of all the racists in this country than the immigrants who are willing to actually work to make this country back into something worthwhile, to actually make an economy where we are able to produce and not just consume.

it looks to me like you are just venting not asking a question!!! however this country having immigrants does not make this country go downhill quite the contrary it makes THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA well THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!! Sweetie that's what makes this country so great and such a wonderful place to live. Next time you are in the market and hear Spanish being spoken, dont see it as the beginning of a trip down hill see it as an escalator to the top. DIVERSITY!!!!!! That's what America is all about!! Is because people like you that America now days seems to be going backwards in time instead of advancing forward. I take it you dont like it neither when you go and hear Chinese or Japanese spoken either. America is a trend setter. I hope that this trend (hating people that are different from you) does not spread over the world. May god bless you and open your eyes that seem to be blinded by a thick veil so you can see the beauty around you; that of all the different colors of skins and all the different languages you hear. And may God Bless America because we need it!!

It's not "part" of illegal they don't understand, it's the definition of illegal that evades them.
They continue to excuse WHY they are breaking the law, and think that if you can excuse it, you can break it? I would like to see how they feel if someone kills a member of their family (I do not condone murder, and I don't think anyone should murder anyone for ANY reason) and says that the reason they did it was because they are a criminal and were breaking the law, would the illegal immigrant find it a valid enough excuse for the killer to remain free and do it again? It's an extreme example, but the spirit is still there.

Yes it is to protect the homogeneous American culture... I learned about it when I went to Alaska, Texas, and New York and I felt I was in the same place... people are just exactly the same in Massachusetts and Cali... what a unique culture!!! White people do want to do the jobs, but living from government aid works better for many who could do it... Spanish is a great problem specially for the only nation in the world where most intellectuals only know one language... that's why the economy is going down and the European Union is just getting bigger and better... your time has come US, cause your are extremely egocentric..

If they didn't understand "illegal" they wouldn't sneak over; they'd walk through the front door. The problem is they understand it but don't respect America's laws. I'm not against immigration; I'm very much against people who break our laws! They need to be sent scooting home!

I guess what gidget means is you are not suppose to have any borders and everyone should be allowed in. It's morally wrong to suggest any kind of immigration laws. gidget thinks another 9-11 want happen. I don't feel safe with her thinking.

It's not about becoming a citizen of the United States. All they want is money, so they can be rich when they return to Mexico. About $5.00 should do it!
