I know its very hard to be in your situation, I myself has been in such situation a couple of times and sometimes I just want to give up. But when I continued to pray to God he answered my prayers through helping me to learn and understand more about his word the BIBLE. If you have a bible with you I can recommend some scriptures and you can read them and try to reflect on it. I know your problems won't literally disappear right away but this would assist you to feel much better. Also if you don't have a bible with you I can recommend a website that has BIBLE online.
Scriptures:
Isaiah 45:18
Genesis, chapters 1 & 2
Genesis 2:7-9, 15
Genesis 1:27

Luke 23:43
2 Peter 3:13
Psalm 37:29
Matthew 5:5

Oh Sammy, I pray that God will show you what and where He would have to do and go. Listen....there is a sure fire way to know you are doing His will. It's really very simple. It's all in the bible, right there for us to see, read and put into practice. The bible says...what does God ask of us? To do justly and love mercy. His plan for you is that you surrender your life to Jesus Christ so that God can make you into the image of His son and use you to reach others. If you wake up every day and go out into the world desiring to be kind, forgiving, compassionate, merciful, loving, considerate of others, this is God's plan.
If you are looking at a more long term thing, what career, what path in the future, then just ask God! And wait! That is the hardest part. Pray and wait, and in the meantime show others the love of Jesus every single day.

This is a good start, to recognize what you need...spiritual guidance. Well, many people pray, but don't feel that they receive an answer. However, the next day or so they just might meet a person at their door step who wants to teach them the bible. What do you think of that? Maybe learning more what the bible has to offer about life would be a good plan, for now. Why not go to http://www.watchtower.org to request a free bible study and find some good biblical publications right at your fingertips, and all for free!

All religion is man made it all makes the same claim that it comes from God. This claim is partially true but people can never stand to leave Gods word alone. This is because god’s word is consistent and does not mesh well with their personal preconceptions and bigoted ideas. So they make little changes here and there injecting their thoughts into the mix tainting the word with nonsense. For this reason you should not put much faith in these ideas about god that come from others. If God wants to tell you something He is perfectly capable of telling you directly.
Maybe you should stop reading what other people say about God and ask him to tell you what he wants you to do directly. Stop reading; clear you mind and listen. When you pray get you’re talking over as soon as possible and listen. He is trying to talk to you but your mind is full of nonsense from the bible and other sources. Don’t be surprised if what you hear does not sound much like what you have been told about God. You will be hearing Gods message minus the nonsense.
In your bible study have you ever heard of the small still voice? You can't hear it if your mind is otherwise occupied with other people’s silly ideas about God. Just try it you will be surprised
Love and blessings

You should look for guidance in 3 main places: The Bible; circumstances; and the advice of wise, godly friends.
If you feel like you're at a crossroads between two very specific things, first PRAY, then search God's Word to see if either of them are not in His Will for us as Christians. If so, then don't do that one (or both). IF they're both fine according to God's Will, then PRAY again and seek the council of a wise, godly friend maybe even your pastor. After that, PRAY yet again and look at the circumstances. Sometimes a fresh look after doing these things makes one more clear than the other.
Hope this helps!

Have faith. Keep praying. Don't over busy yourself. Rest, so that you are more receptive to hearing God's word and direction. Don't choose the road to take until you are more comfortable with the outcome of your decision. Remember that when you live as a Christian that things happen in God's time not ours. Maybe it's not time to decide the road. It could be that the decision will be made for you when the time is right. See guideposts.com for prayer as well.

Praying a lot is the best thing to do. You can also talk with some one you know and trust to be strong in their faith about the situation. I have been there myself, and the best thing was to just keep going forward day by day and things always worked out for me. Sometimes you don't understand everything happening in your life, but the main thing is to keep the faith and trust that He has a plan. It may be that you shouldn't be trying to figure out His plan for you, rather you should be just trusting Him to lead you in the right way to go at this time in your life. When the time is right the doors will open and things will make sense to you. Keep seeking Him, you will see that He is faithful and things will work out according to His plan.

Man that is so tough. Ask your friends at church for advice. See if you can get an appointment with your pastor to talk it over as well. There is always the write the pro's and con's on a piece of paper method if it is that kind of situation.
I don't know if this will help you, but even if you make the wrong decision, God will get you to where you are supposed to be -- even if it takes two years of working temp jobs like me!

The last time I was in a crossroads, I ended up moving across the country and eventually ended up in Africa for four months. I just got back about a month ago... All I can say is hold on and listen for the still small voice, but don't ignore the giant booming yelling either. God does have a plan for you. It will be revealed to you in His time.

This is a problem many of us have. The native Americans had ways to deal with it. What they did was smoke hemp, and when they were high as could be, they wondered off, and hallucinated. Many cultures have done this. God can only be found through methods that leave you will great hunger, and red eyes said great chief sitting squirrel. If you do as I say, you can ask him yourself. I myself have done it many times, and it must be repeated for best results. Or you could get a Ouija board.
