Who thinks it is sad that so many "educated," non-Christians think that Christians are "uneducated?" If you spend 20 years being educated to understand a lie like evolution, then you are just as ignorant as when you started. You may be convinced that you are intelligent because of all those people who CHOOSE to believe the lie that you believe have given you degrees and honors telling you how intelligent you are. A "good" education depends on the subject which is being learned (truth or lies) and what it ultimately accomplishes for other people. I was educated about evolution for 20 years and had no clue about truth until I started examining the evidence from both sides of the creation/evolution debate and then chose to believe what the Bible says. How many of you "educated" mockers and haters of Christianity have ever read and studied the entire Bible with as much effort as you study your precious BELIEF in evolution, which is just one of the doctrines of the religion of Secular Humanism?

Educated in what, and by whom? Therein lies the answer.

Uneducated Christians?

Well, Thats not me, BUT..I always did have the urge to do things I shouldn't. As a preacher, you could more understand this. :)

Even the most brilliant scientist says believe.

In II Peter 2, verses 1 and 2, it says that there are going to be teachers who mock the teaching of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. I Corinthians 15, verses 3 and 4 says Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Now, if the resurrection is just symbolical, then the death must be symbolical. His death was literal. His resurrection is literal. If you don't keep the resurrection, you cannot go to heaven and that is Romans chapter 10, verses 9 and 10. You must accept the literal bodily resurrection of Christ.

Taking the bible literally, it was Sir Isaac Newton and today he's claimed by the scientists of the world to be the greatest mind scientifically to ever exist in history, said just before Christ returns, ministers will mock the idea of a literal Bible. And Sir Anderson who did the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24 said the same thing. They will mock the literal interpretation of the Holy Word of God. Stick to it and believe what it says literally.

I think this pretty much sums it up :)

I am a Christian and believe in evolution. The two are not mutually exclusive. I also do NOT accept the fundamentalist belief that the Bible is the ultimate truth wrote by God. At best it was inspired. I believe the Bible to be stories, and good ones at that. That teach us to love our neighbors and be generally good people.

I believe that religion asks why and science asks how. Evolution is the process by which things happened. For a Christian this still leaves an option for religion and God. For others, it is an explaination that doesn't leave room for God.

Yes, I've studied the Bible many times over. But, realized that is not the point of being a Christian. The whole point is to live as Christ did. And, if I read and study the Bible for hours on end, memorize it and spew it back --- but, don't love my neighbor (live as Christ) it's fruitless.

I would be one of those you speak of.... I don't really appreciate all the name calling though. I studied the Bible throughout my secondary education (private school) and into college. Its got some wonderful life lessons in it, but no science. None whatsoever. If you want to learn about science (which you apparently DON'T) you need to keep that open mind that you maybe used to have. How can you call evolution a lie? Are you implying that all the scientists in the world got together and made up this lie? Are you currently taking medication? Because if you aren't then perhaps you should be.

How long is 1 day to God? I believe, as many Christians do, in evolution. God was there for Evolution. The Genesis story is not a word for word account of how God did things. Heck, to read the book of Genesis alone gives more than one account of the beginnings of Creation. Look, Preacher whatever education you have is fine, I don't care. As a Christian, the most important points of the Bible are in the New Testament where Jesus teaches us his lessons . He didn't seem real hung up with Adam and Eve.

I am a Christian..... without the missing link there is no support for evolution and creationism is based on faith alone ..... there is no proof of homosapiens existence on Earth prior to 5800 yrs ago..........which according to the Hebrew calender would be aprox when Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden! So , for all the none believers THINK AGAIN! Read the Bible if you need help understanding it get Life's Applications NIV.... you may find yourself praying for forgiveness! 10 Points or not you deserved an answer!

Is it fun living in a dream? When you wake up, I recommend reading a book on evolution. If you were so secure in your beliefs you would not need to post this. But OH......wait.....I have seen the light. I repent my evil, and I ask forgiveness for actually thinking. I have seen the proof. It is correct because you say nonbelievers are stupid. How could I live a life of ignorance disagreeing with a book that says the earth is flat, and that it is 6000 years old. What a fool I have been. I truly thank you.

Many non-Christians think that Christians are uneducated because they think "blind faith" means following a doctrine even if there is evidence to the contrary. I often quote Craig Hazen, who says, "Christianity is not about blind faith—it never has been. You can go into it with eyes wide open."

You make some valid points, and I'd also like to add something for those who claim "you can believe whatever you want, as long as you are sincere." The frightening truth is that someone can be sincere but also be dead wrong. Many Nazis were sincere, but grossly mislead and obviously following some horribly twisted ideals.

This really bothers you, doesn't it? Why be concerned about such at all? Isn't it much better to be at peace, than to be right all the time? Is it important to say, "I told you so?"

There have always been heated debates over our origins. They will continue long after you and I leave this planet. Who really cares? If you are secure in your faith, why slam those who think differently. Isn't it just a matter of pride? And we all know what the Book of Proverbs says about pride. Right? Such a reaction does not spring from love, faith, peace, joy, patience, kindness, and truth.

I am a Christian, but I also understand and embrace other faiths. One distinguishing fact remains. Most Christians are not successful in getting prayers answered. Without making excuses, please tell me why? If they were all on their game, wouldn't the world be running to them for answers?

If a loving and devoted mother in rural India prays to a monkey god for the health of her sick child, as her people have for many generations, does her prayer go unanswered? Does God shut his ears to her? Is God so technical? If you were God, would you help her? Or would you let her watch her child suffer?

Praise and blame, gain and loss, joy and sorrow, all come and go like the wind. To be happy, rest like a great tree in the midst of them.

Relax a little, guy. We'll all make it. It's going to be alright.

Is it impossible that as God created life from the dust of the earth that that was in itself evolution? Doesn't it go something like "a day is to a thousand years as a thousand years is to a day"? Guess I could pull the Bible out of the hotel drawer but I think you understand my meaning...and yes, I think now I will post that as a question!

wow you studied evolution for 20 years? sounds like a lie to me. theres just too much evidence against the existance of god.

you say that evolution is a lie.. interesting that you believe in the bible with blind faith. i might as well just believe in a harry potter book or something. also, you talk about ignorance, yet you choose christianity over other religions, without even studying them?
