wow that is serious...
that was probably (at that time) his best friend too....
You can't help your feelings that you feel a "little akward"
I've never felt akward about someones ex. he must need to talk to someone about it and YOU may be his best friend now....
what is causing you to feel akward? that may be hard to figure out... if you can figure that out and get over feeling akward without saying anything I think would be best.
'til then... I'd
"listen" the best that I could.

No, just listen and offer comfort for him. I mean think about it, how would you feel if someone you loved was killed in a car accident? Would really be hurting and need to talk about it, even though you are over it. So don't tell him that you feel awkward about it, because then he'll pull away from you emotionally knowing that he can't share his pain or feelings with you because you will always be awkward about it. And thats the last thing we as girls need from guys is withdrawing from us. He has a right to his feelings so let him get them out and move on. That usually helps guys greatly and it will increase your bond.

the great scenerio for this actual situation is before each little thing, understanding that this ex of yours obviously has an severe case of the "immatures". really of giving him the feed back that he'd love which could probably, contained in the right damage you extra, you could purely ignore about him. yet, there's a situation that is going with ignoring human beings. They sense that you some how concern them. Who cares even with the undeniable fact that? see you later as you realize that you at the on the spot are not terrified of him this is all that concerns. tell him to G.A.L. GET A existence!

Yes you should say it. I am a widow and know that if I date I will only talk about my late husband and I would need someone to tell me it is making them feel awkward. The reason he talks is because he feels bad for her. I will always feel bad for my husband and want to talk about him every chance I get. I hope he can stop for your sake because it isn't good for him or you.

maybe you should try and talk to him and let him know how you feel, if he understand you, then he really loves you and if he goes off, he is still in love with her and is not over her and maybe yall should take some time apart so he can sort out his feelings

Don't tell him that it's awkward for you because he must still miss her a lot so just be supportive of it until he fully over it

let him remember she is not a threat in anyway. when someone you love dies its hard to let go and he probably will never stop talking about her on occasions. read more on relationships that will help you on this site

you are cold hearted if you can't understand his position on that. you should appreciate that he knew how to love before you, it makes him a bigger and better man for being able to admit it so long down the line.
