You probably want to read Matthew 24 and maybe flip back and forth with the book of Revelation.
Juicy stuff.
Basically, wars, disease, natural disasters, earthquakes, Sun and moon both dark etc...

For thousands of years people have been predicting the end of the world. They are always sure that it is right around the corner. This is one of the best ways to make a fool of your self. I am almost 60 and have lived through quite a few end of the world predictions. Each one was of course really going to be the end. Only problem was the day after the so-called end was just like any other day. The sun came up just like any other day.
This whole end of the world thing is a way for the insecure to feel better about them selves, because the believers are always the chosen few who are going to heaven. Silly little dream of superiority isn't it.

The world itself will not end. It will "stand to times indefinite". The prophesies of the "wicked system" ending is as follows: The political system turns against the religious system, the U.N. becomes an 8th world power, U.S. power will be conquered, another "power" will appear, but will be wiped out by God's hand. The "last days" are recorded in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Matthew 24:3-14 explains what world conditions will be like. We are already in the last days, just before God destroys the wicked people. I won't go into details here, but you can write me if you want more info.

Before the end of the world, there will be many false prophets, and therefore, false prophecies as well. That's how you'll know the end is near...
