I am a wife of a Canadian soldier stationed in CFB Petawawa where most of the Canadians in Afghanistan are from. I have family and friends over there and have been keeping a close eye on what is happening over there. The news has reported an estimated 72 Taliban were killed and the Taliban has asked for the return of the bodies. At least 18 have been returned.

Yeah, I heard it was estimated to be 71, but it was a combination of coalition forces and the Afghani police. Plus a few 2,000 lbs dropped from above.
Canadians have fine forces--nothing lucky about it.

And hey assafah--apparently you haven't seen the ones begging at our boots, not to be harmed or sent to paradise. It is embarrassing.
