Not really. The purprose for companies there are just getting leads. They won't run or use your SS# at all unless they are interested in you. At this moment, they are just busy in filtering who should give interview. If you get interview, you can point out that you filled out wrong SS. Not a big deal.

No you wont be in trouble the companies may feel that you done this to prevent an accurate background check from being performed so you probably wont get many call backs but be prepared to explain if the chance occurs that you do
