God created man and He tells about it in Chapter One Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. In Chapter Two He give more details on how He did it in Chapter one. Genesis 2: 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Adam was the first and did not keep God's commandment so He sinned and because of that we have a sin nature and not we are not in the image of God but in the image of Adam. Genesis 5: 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 were most likely written by two different authors with two different motivations and points of view about the creation. The accounts were also probably written some 200 years apart from one another and the account in Genesis 2 is most likely more ancient than the one in Genesis 1 (the vast majority of Biblical Scholars both liberal and conservative agree with this - (any survey of the literary structure of Genesis will provide more detail).
The Bible does not state that human beings were created twice, thus, even the literalist who surmises that human beings were betrays their own reading strategy. Both stories are mutually exclusive of one another. Both cannot be true. In Genesis 1, human beings are created last in the cycle, in Genesis 2, they are created first (well, after the heavens and earth were created), and then vegetation and animals were created. It is also compelling that the cosmological model assumed by these writers and therefore is inherent in the text cannot be adopted by the modern reader. The sun revolved around the earth (as did the moon), the earth was surrounded by water above and below, etc.
So no, human beings weren't created twice. These are just mythical stories pointing to a theological assertion that God created all things, placing humankind in a prominent position within that creation (that is what the text asserts anyway, not necessarily my opinion). Hope that helps.

Some Christians believe that humans were indeed created twice. I'm not so sure. The indication is that God created humans outside of the Garden of Eden and then again within the Garden. Also another indication is that God created the people in the garden, Adam and Eve, to be special, that is to have a better relationship with him. I didn't live back then so these ideas may not be the absolute truth, but thatis what I have understood it to be.

God created Adam and Eve on the same day, the sixth day of Creation. Chapter 2 of Genesis is simply a summary of what happened during Creation. Look at verse 1 again: "This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created (NIV)."

I can tell that the Spirit of God is alive in you. God tells us to read His Word to gain a stronger faith. As your faith grows, your understanding of His Word grows as well.
You have come upon what many when they read just pass over and then try with their minds to understand.
You have read and true understanding is only a prayer away. I am not going to insist that you believe me, but I was right where you are now some 30 years ago.
When I read this passage for the first time, I thought that there must have been a pre Adam creation for this to make sense.
I am going to charge you with the task to re-read those chapters again and this time ask God to reveal to you the wisdom and understanding that is needed. God has made us all a promise that He will reveal all if we ask in the name of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.
On the sixth day God created men and women and He gave them charge over...etc. He told them to go and repopulate the Earth...etc.
God rested on the seventh day...etc.
On the eighth day God created haAdam. The man....etc. Then God caused haAdam to sleep and took from the man some DNA and created wombman (woman).
There is so much God wants to reveal to you. You need to ask the correct way.
ASK. A=ask S=seek K=knock. Its waiting for you and anyone who seeks the truth.
Better hurry though, time is running out. A Word to the Wise.><>

It is believed that the human form was originally made on a
higher level. The Garden of Eden, (paradise), Heaven, (paradise).
That there are places in Heaven exactly like on Earth. The rivers
dried up in Revelation, being a spiritual obstacle removed for a
spiritual army to come at the Earth.
God tells Adam and Eve in Genesis to (re)plenish the Earth.
Which means do it again.
The Eden story is symbolic. Showing we have the ability to chose right from wrong. The "tree" symbolizing the dimensions
as they rise from where we are up to God. Eve being made
from Adams "rib". The middle of his body. Showing woman is not above or below a man, but equal in the eyes of God. And of
course that there are outside influences trying to hurt us.

In Genesis 1 God created man's spirit which was in the image of God, and then in Genesis 2 God put that spirit into a phsyical body from the dust of the earth.
Genesis1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Notice that this scripture says "in our image". That means the image of the spirit of the Father, son and Holy Ghost.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Here they put that spirit into the body of the man formed out of the dust of the earth.

Mankind was reinvented into a less perfect, disease-prone model that was limited to 120 years because of the sin in the garden and man's continued grief given to God.
It is quite correct to say we were created twice (3 if you count the creation of women). And in fact 3 more creations are coming....
A. The creation of your temporary resting place until judgment
B. The resurrected body of the evil people (doomed to suffer)
C. The resurrected angelic body of the saved

An diagnosis of the writing confirmed that the two bills have been written in 2 distinctive time classes. while the e book grow to be compiled, it had the tale advised as quickly as, then some chapters later it grow to be advised returned. the point of the introduction tale isn't meant to take the area of technology. the factor of the introduction tale is to offer a speedy precis of the initiating. you already know once you watch a celebrity Wars action picture and interior the initiating there's a prologue? think of of the introduction tale as that. it fairly is only a speedy precis.
