Yes, those two things can be related and they are both signs of a heart attack or storke. I am not saying that is what is happening. However shortness of breath and numbness are something that should be reported ASAP. Call the ER and ask to speak to a nurse about your symptoms. See what they say.

Best of luck to you and Take Care of yourself. You are in my thoughts!!!! :)

It could be one of several things. It is best to see a doctor or visit an Emergency Room. Shortness of breath and tingling in your extremities can be caused by something as simple as hyperventilation (you feel oxygen starved, but actually, you have too much oxygen in your blood and need to balance it with carbon dioxide). Breathing into a paper bag (not plastic) for a few minutes will recycle your carbon dioxide and help.

But your symptoms can also indicate heart trouble. Shortness of breath and tingling can be serious. Do you have chest pain? Nausea? Dizzyness?

It is best to see a physician. Don't take any chances.

I get shortness of breath all the time... my allergies or when I eat something that doesn't go well with me. But the numbness... that sounds serious and I would go to the ER. If you can't call a doctor on call at your local clinic and tell them your problem. Also you can call a 24 hour nurse hotline.

You could be hyperventilating and blowing off too much CO2. Slow down your breathing or breath into a paper bag. Really! Or breathe through one nostril.

It's possible that the lack of oxygen is causing your circulation to slow. Why aren't you going to a Dr.?

could be circulation problems but it also could be a whole host of other things. If you start to get chest pains and they get worse call 911 and get a hospital pronto.
