What is it you want out of a party for a two year old?
For us, the younger year birthday parties were simply family celebrations. The kids are still pretty clueless. Cake, balloons, presents, loving people, that's enough.
any of those party venues are far too stimulating for a 2 year old. a waste of money and an unpleasant experience for the child.
how about the beach, with two candles in a cupcake?

You could always do Chuck E. Cheese or McDonald's. I think Toys R Us/Geoffrey's might have something for birthdays. Also try a bowling alley (my 2 yr. old LOVES bowling with the little bumpers and everything) or what about a local park with a playground nearby?

Gymboree offers birthday specials. I think they are higher priced than McDonald's and Chuck E. Cheese, but more focused on younger children.

Have it at a park. Or at a pizza place. Ghatti Town, or CiCi's Pizza, there has to be some place you can go up there. What about Chuck E Cheese's?
