Back in high school, i dated this one girl on and off, for probabally 2 years. Haven't talked to her in about 3 years, just ran into her...it was kinda akward. Since then I wanted to ask out one of her really good friends. Is that wrong???

What happens in high school is different from when you date in the real world. Most of the trivial little rules that you followed then don't apply now.

You only dated the girl, you were in high school and you haven't seen her in three years. What's the problem?

Go out there and get some...

no as long as you don't go through her to ask the friend out. if she's still hung up on the idea of you two, well then too bad. high school is over.

nope...the fact that u didnt see each other fo 3 years means u have already broken up with each other. just ask her to introduce that friend to u

nope....

...I don't understand the akward thing.. I've never had that with previous girlfriends...
I either want to avoid them altogether
or
we're still friends...

No.... your not asking her out.. but the weirdness.. do you have unresolved feelings that you didn't settle back then... and now they are surfacing?
