I am actually begining to think so. I just joined today and have spent the last hour answering questions while my boyfriend watches tv. It is fun to read the questions. Esp. the crazy ones.

Yes I believe that Anwering questions on Yahoo is already an addiction to people, and if its not to people, It will become an addiction I believe. Because people want to get to the next level and to see how high they can get and how many points they can get in Yahoo Answer's. Personally I wish there was no points involved.

Y/A isn't an addiction for me, it really is an section I drop through between doing different issues on the computer. If you're being detoxed, does Yahoo slowly reduce the number of Q and A you're permitted daily?

In some ways, it's like checking e-mail--"what's new NOW?". Suspect that a lot of my activity (fairly new user) is the "novelty factor", but my DH says he really enjoys seeing the oddball and interesting questions and being able to stretch his brain...

It really is surprisingly addictive. It's not something that I could spend hours and hours doing, but it's pretty fulfilling when someone chooses my answer as the best. :D
