God is a man made creation. So you can answer that for yourself if you want. Remember if god is real, he is the worlds most heinous murderer that the Earth has ever seen. No god of mine would kill. Yet this one kills and then says "thou shall not kill" That is just a huge smelly load of BS. What kind of god can't practice what he preaches? God is the worst being out there if you read about him in the bible.

1 peter 5:7 "Cast all of your anxiety on God because he cares for you." I had to read that yesterday, because I am going through a tough time and it does not seem that God cares, but I have to keep my faith and remember that God does care...don't depend of feelings...depend on FACT!

Yes, that's why He gave us life, and a beautiful world to live in. But He didn't stop there. He gave us the freedom to choose whether or not to love Him, and sacrificed His Son to suffer so that we could be forgiven for our sins. Even when we have trials in our life, He cares enough to help us overcome them, and we become stronger because of them. He has the ability to keep us from having problems, but He cares enough for us to let us learn from those problems, like a good parent who protects their child from harm, but doesn't overprotect them so that they never learn to take care of themselves. It's an easy choice for me to choose Him.

Yes, but we were given the capacity for free will and have not always chosen wisely. As parents of a 17 year old we have allowed freedoms that have the capacity to do harm if the path is strayed from, and know that as much as we guide her, she will "do as she will" no matter what our views may be.

It is only by the blood of Jesus being shed that we can have our sins forgiven. Now, is that caring, or what?

To some degree, yes. If you believe he cares only for the body, no. If you believe predominantly for the soul, yes.
