when i brush my teeth i wet my toothbrush with hott water then i put toothpaste on it and brush my teeth for like 5 mins and then i spit out the remainder and rinse my mouth with water several times lol

Definitely spit out the water. I like to kill all of the bacteria in my mouth afterwards, so I rinse with mouthwash and then water. You don't want mouthwash or toothpaste left in your mouth. Their ingredients are not perfectly healthy.

doesn't matter all that much. you brush to loosen the tarter and other accumulations in your mouth, and to stimulate the gums. if you swallow that stuff, well, that is up to you. me, i rinse the mess out with water.
