When my first born was a baby (damn, I wish I could add a picture of her now, she's a DJ in Austin, TX), we had to put a Pamper, covered by a diaper, covered by two pairs of plastic pants, when we put her down for the night. Even with all that, she soaked the bed, the blankets, and the floor under the bed. She was born at 12lbs. and 23 inches long.

EEWW! Not me. When ever I used to put them on my son, (if we ran out of Pampers) he would get such a rash in no time. They don't breath. I prefered disposable. And for night time I made a great discovery. Diaper doublers. We begged our grocery store to carry them. Great for super wetters. :}

Never tried but doesn't it cause diaper ash? Even plastic coated diapers don't seem to breath well....
